Hello everyone, another AF night for me to chalk up making it 14 days now :D Just getting ready for a hot choccie later on after I've washed up :D

Still deliberating how many to go for in Sept and I've just realised that it makes my ninth month of controlled reduced alcohol drinking and increased awareness of units :T

A big thanks to everyone on the thread for the high levels of support on here :A

I think the system is better now. I never have anything wrong with my teeth though so I just pay £16 twice a year for a check up and a scale and polish. My DH went recently and he had to have a lot of work so we were glad there is only one high fee now. My DH paid over £250 for far less work with the old system.

But if the amount of work was less it probably would have been the same fee.
    1 Crown = £198
    10 Crowns = £198
How is that fair to the population. Incidentally the Dentist receives the same amount of funding regardless. So they have a perverse incentive to get rid of people who actually need treatment, and keep folk who don't

Yes, I can see what you mean. I suppose when I said the new system was better, I meant it worked out better for the treatment me and my husband had!:D;) I will probably change my mind when something goes wrong with my teeth. It doesn't make much sense to have such a big leap in fees between the £40 odd one and the £198 one.

AF 2nd night...only a 5% twinge at 5-30 pm lasting 10 mins! Am pretty tired so will sleep well tonight.

My foot has improved (! )-2 x cats claw tablets every 2 hours, vitc+quertecin (big dose of c!) tablets every 2 hrs, celery seed tablets every 2 hours. Last Ibuprofen at 11am so herbals have improved it....only a bit aching now & much much better.

Car done...alternator (2nd hand/recon) fitted-total £88! If you see my previous threads you'll see what huge other prices I was quoted...(!)..this garage is great cos it's walking distance from home & has a scrapyard/breakers attached for parts...bargain city if money tight!

Think will go to bed 11ish....hope you are all doing ok!
  • Evening all,

No wine for me tonight:j:j .
