Well done on going to meeting on Friday - good luck and yes, I'm sure your OH is much happier you take a couple of hours out to do this. I know mine would be. I've not told him yet that I'm on here getting support etc but I'm pleased to say that he's noticed big time the difference in the last two nights, or moreso the mornings......he's not getting his head bitten off for no unknown reason!! Bless him.

Last night we had homemade chilli con carne for tea. I love red wine with this dish and there was a bottle already open. I had a glass followed by some malibu's. I knew this was going to happen so I didn't beat myself up about it. Im staying AF today though and know I will wake up tomorrow feeling so much better about it.

As for eyebrows.....can't stand the pain. Pluck one hair....tears. The second one never gets done. But then, I've always thought the Patrick Moore look a good one (oh dear, another age thing.......)

For no particular reason, in work yesterday i went back & started reading the original thread. I joined in April 2008. Hmmmm, 18 months nearly, & not a great deal of progess (as in, none).

Am seriously considering going to see GP when back. Caz you seemed to decide to go to AA very soon after joining here; I'm obv finding it far harder to take that quantuum leap.

When I come back off hols - as ever full of resolve for "manana" (multilingual keyboard!!) (shame it won't do decent English :rotfl:) I'm gonna give it a week or 2 then go to the docs for a LFT & referral :eek::eek::eek: (I've actually broken out in a sweat (TMI) (menopause ) typing that....)

Apart from a trip to B&Q, I've done nothing today!! DD1 and BF took the 2 younger kids to the park and I've been on my Jack all day long which is perfect for a day decorating, did I use the time, did I 'eck as like :eek:

Now the sky has gone black and I'm thinking should I ring DD1 & Boyf to see if they want picking up before it chucks it down, so so lazy!! I can't believe my laziness!!! How many explanation marks can I get in a sentence!!!!!!!!

ETA: how spooky is that, just submit that message and she rung me to ask to be picked up :eek:

We're going to completely the opposite side of the Br Isles - west wales. (don't think there's anyone on here from wales - can I say what I like? :rotfl::cool:)
