OK. So there are people out there who invest in property (to make money, I presume) and insist on paying a price *above* the asking price for a property. Makes perfect business sense to me.

There used to be. Just ask Inside track, they never had any trouble finding [STRIKE]mugs[/STRIKE] investors for the new build flats.

My instinct is its an out and out con but a little bit of me wonders whether its more sofisticated (in an inside track way) such they they rip of a buyer and involve an innocent vendor in the con rather than a complicit builder.

 Did Inside Track really manage that. Where do I find some of these buyers :D

susie and James - did you just happen to be browsing the internet and feel the sudden urge to defend this bastion of public spirited finance company or were you googling the name to see the links it threw up?

well to be honest, if uve all spent the time to sit and type up bad reviews of the company then i am going to take the time to tell you, their not a scam, they are good and very helpful people. and to be honest with you i bet your all just a bunch of con artists who dont want other legitimate companies taking business from you, if you dont believe me give them a call 08009170679, see what they have to say.

Ummm...has anyone given them a call on 08009170679 to see what they have to say by any chance?

Well, it's a bit confusing why you have to pay them £800, and what's the money all about? You should ask them, and it would be much better if you ask the experts on this matter.

This scam has been doing the rounds for a while now. I’ve seen it on other boards, one of them a Spanish property forum.

They’ve used other names as well. They go for names vaguely connected with, but not the same as, legitimate businesses.

On the other forums, guess what, posters also popped up out of the blue who could not praise them enough for saving them in these terrible times.

I usually lurk in this forum and dont post all that much, but just had to say this thread has made me laugh so much, thanks to the investigators who managed to find out what the company is really all about, I applaud you! ;)

******* has been on the phone this morning and i have told him we re not interested. If he has so many investors interested in my property to let them pay for the valuation and all fees. He was rather nasty have told him not to phone again and i hung up.
Do yourselves a favour if he phones dont even bother getting involved.
