    Hi Everyone

I've just had an e-mail from Universal with a link to the new Harry Potter land with a new map / Gallery / FAQ page etc.

I can't see it on this thread but sorry if I've missed it.
I can't post links yet so its the universalorlando website and put /harrypotter after the .com

No official opening date yet , just says spring 10

    Here's the link:

I am hoping to get hubby to agree into buying DVC.

Hi FloFlo, I'm a DVC member and you are welcome to PM me with any questions you may have about joining. I've been a member since 1995 and I know that there's at least one other poster on here who is/has been a member.

There's also a very active DVC bulletin board here:

Serenaly-- Welcome. If you go to post 1 you will find a lot of places to visit and compare prices.
As for Orlandoattractions I think it is part of http://www.attraction-tickets-direct.co.uk/
if not they will price match and are very reliable! Usually give a few goodies away as well.
    Hope that helps.

It does look awesome! I can't wait to see what they do with the "Beauty & The Beast" restaurant and I hope the food will bring a nicer restaurant to MK (nothing against the ones there, but the selection is a bit lacking in terms of table service IMO).

I quite agree Karen. We could do with another sit down resturant in the MK although I understand the new place will ONLY be sit down in the evening and counter service at lunch.

Thank you for the info Craig, I can't wait to go back! But unfortunately it will be 2011 before I am likely to. I am hoping to get hubby to agree into buying DVC.

    Now thats an idea!

In August our neighbours in the US took us to their DVC home which is Saratgoa Springs and whilst there they had some model homes of Bay Lake Towers, Tree House villas etc - we had a great look around and it looks AMAZING! I did ask the caho how much it woudl be to buy the equic of three weeks in August at Bay Lake and the cost - a mere 170k!!! BUt thats August, thats three weeks and it was BLT!!

There are some DVC memebers on here who I ams ure can offer help. You do not also need to buy a new DVC memebership, you cna buy a resale one as well which are cheapers. You cna also use your DVC points to pay for Adventures by Disney holidays and Cruises as well :)

    Cheers

Oh! Well, I was disappointed when I read what you wrote initially as we've got into the habit of often having a nice lunch in a park frequently, and MK is a bit lacking from that perspective. But I guess Disney have run the numbers and they must believe there isn't a demand for another TS lunch spot (maybe because people want to be doing the rides in MK rather than spending time at lunch??).

Anyway, a nice dinner here and then Wishes before walking home to Bay Lake Tower sounds a really nice way to spend the evening (and no, we don't have enough points to stay in a Grand Villa for 3 weeks :eek:)

That sounds like my dream come true too Karen, though I think I'm more likely to be watching the fireworks from a studio!

Can always have a great meal and drink at Narcoossee's [sp] Grand Floridean and watch Wishes from there. Now even better because they now have the sounds over the speakers in the restaurant.Novel way to see the fireworks, gives an idea how far away from the castle they really are!!
