    I wish! :D

Flying via India seems a bit much too! :D

I don't think it will affect our next trip stateside as we're already booked, but for the future I think we may have to invest in some new cases - the ones we usually take aren't as big as the maximum size allowed, but it wasn't a problem before because we could take a fold-up holdall inside and bring back two bags each!
I think if we must take fewer cases, they will have to be bigger!

You could always pack a golf bag as thats allowed as extra.

I really think Virgin have gone downhill.

On our last flight they smashed a nearly Antler suitcase and replaced it with a cheap one. I am trying to sort that out as we speak.

Our cases are big and when it was 32 kg we could fill them fine, now its 23 kilos they come back half empty because of the restriction on weight.

Trsut me soon you will be paying for meals on Virgin as well. They are no better than a charter now and I will now probably go via a hub, pay less and save the money

I do not know if any of you are aware of D23, the Offical OnLine community for Fans of Disney? Well it just held its first expo other in Califonia. It looked AWESOME and some highlights were:

    - brand new Star Tours ride (2.0)
    - DOUBLING of fanstyland!!! This will be awesome
    - Disney Cruise line going to Alaska!

We have a great review of this on teh Disney Brit Podcast this week and also cover in great detail the Mickey Not So Scary Halloween Party. We have lots of reports from Disney Cheif Magic Officer Justin Muchony as well.

But for me the Fantasyland expansion will be awesome. Takes over Toon Town and also uses all of the space from the old 20000 leaguesunder the sear attraction.

    Thanks

Couldn't agree more CJD! The first time I flew with Virgin was to Miami in 1995 - I was disappointed. I have flown with them a few times since and have never had an experience to improve my opinion.

Love their current advert though - shame they don't live up to the hype!

I'd heard about the expansion/ renovation but not in much detail. Any clues as to what the plans are? Will it be similar theming to fantasy land? Or does the fact that Disney have bought rights to Marvel mean its going to have an IOA flavour?

    Thanks, Donna

    Hi Donna

The theming will be Princesses!! Basically every Disney Princess gets their own home! You will be able to see Tink and her friends in a real Pixie hollow and Airail and Belle as well. They are building a castle wall around the new fantasyland so that the castle in teh centre of the park leads you to the new land.

There will be a new sit down resturant and a new E Ticket attraction for the Little Mermaid. This is the one they are putting into Disney CA park in CA and will be AWESOME. The Dumbo ride is being moved and DOUBLED in sized and will be housed around a enw circus tent with a new queue which is not actually a queue at all! Jay's speachj at D23 was awesome, there is so much going to happen and it will mostly be ready by 2012

Toon town will go as will the old 20,000 leagues under the sea lagoon and show building.

It really is going to be brilliant.

Thank you for the info Craig, I can't wait to go back! But unfortunately it will be 2011 before I am likely to. I am hoping to get hubby to agree into buying DVC.

Hello, advice on theme park tickets, please! I'll be buying flexticket plus, the cheapest I've seen so far is £163 adult £150 child with gotoexplore.com. Anyone heard of them, are they OK? Also what happens with kids under 3 as my youngest will be only just 3 when we get there - do you need proof of age for free entry? Thanks for any help.

wouldnt worry we went earlier this year little one turned 3 a few days into the holiday, we didnt buy a ticket and it was never questioned. every time we approached the gate little one was in the pushchair and they opened the chate to let the push chair through. It was all fine.

It does look awesome! I can't wait to see what they do with the "Beauty & The Beast" restaurant and I hope the food will bring a nicer restaurant to MK (nothing against the ones there, but the selection is a bit lacking in terms of table service IMO).
