yes it's our first visit. thanks for the reply. what's the cheapest way to get tickets? we def want to do sea world. and what can we expect the weather to be like? also, sorry to ramble but is it worth just taking a few bits of clothes and buying a load out there?
we are staying at the quality inn plaza on i drive so if anyone has any feed back on the hotel or good places to eat near there that would be brilliant! i'm really excited about the food as i don't like currys or anything spicy and we normally end up somewheree like sri lanka where i struggle to find things i like!
:p It is better to be thought of as an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt

Your first visit and you have Tink as your Avatar!?!
Disney one day tickets are cheaper on the gate about the only place you can buy them.. Disney rules.
Seaworld and Universal from http://www.attraction-tickets-direct.co.uk/ but look at other sites and make ATD price match they are reliable and prompt.
Although I have never stayed on I-Drive there are loads of eateries, without having to use MaccieD's Burger King or Wendys There will be a Chili's an Ihop a Black Angus, Red Lobster all without the buffet places like Golden Coral, Ponderosa and the like. A Chinese buffet can be excellent for a different meal. Then there are the better resaurants like the Olive Garden. Its very hard to go hungry in Florida.
Sorry never stayed in a hotel so cannot comment.

  • Query about Flexticket Plus:

On the Orlando flexticket website it says: "Enjoy 14 consecutive days of unlimited admission into Universal Studios, Universal Islands of Adventure, SeaWorld Orlando, Wet n Wild Orlando Aquatica and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay."

Now does this mean you HAVE to go ever single day from first use onwards or could you miss a day or 2 (i.e first use on the Monday next use on the Wednesday)??

Your help is appreciated. I would call them but all the numbers seem to be '0844'.

You can use the ticket as often, or as little, as you like during the 14 day period... So, you could go to Universal & Sea World every single day if you want, or just on the 1st day and last day of the 14!

Remember that if you visit one of the parks, so Sea World for instance, and then visit in Universal in the afternoon, you just show your Sea World parking ticket, and they will let you park in Universal for free (but only on the same day)

If you are going for 7 days I would sufggest thaty you maybe look at doing Disney Seaworld or Universal etc. Priortise what you prefer as you won't be able to do it all ain that time and wouldn't want you to pay out for loads of tickets and then not really get the benefits

you can get a Seaworld ticket for £75 and this lets you enter the park for thew whole of your stay. Also if you are staying on Intl Drive then you can use the I-ride ( alittle tram) to get you to and from Seaworld
    HTH

I am not sure how much of Universal/IOA would suit a 5 year. IOA is mainly rides but would depend on how talk your child is. My DS is quite small for his age so IOA etc doesn't really suit him. We are only going to Disney when we go because of the cost of all the tickets.

I only bought the Flexticket, but my kids are 9 and 11, so too old for Disney. But even at that age the 9 year old was too small for most rides in Seaworld and Busch Gardens, any smaller and she'd have missed out on a lot of Universal rides too.
Moving onto a better place...Ciao

My 11 year olds love Disney - and can't wait to go there again and again (and again!)...

Fortunately, they're quite tall as well, so can now go on all the rides (and frequently do)...

Only 49 days till we go again :j
