    hi again,

just one more quick question before we go!!

we are wanting to visit kennedy space centre we have been in the past but it was over 15 yrs ago, i am a little confused by the pricing of the tickets though, we want to go on the bus tour which takes you around and explains everything but i get conflicting info some sites say its all in with the addmission price others say its not and costs 21 dollars more. its a bit confusing on the kennedy website too.

can anyone clarify if its all one price or costs more? my the prices have really shot up here since we last visited more than any of the parks i think!

    thanks in advance

    louise x

IIRC the 'basic' bus tour that takes you out to the Appollo centre is included in the admission price but there are others, such as the 'up close' tour that take you to see other bits that you don't get to see on the regular bus tour.

Attraction tickets direct do different options for the space centre they seem to be offering free child places with some of the ticket and transport options.

  • Hi,
One factor to consider ( if you have young kids and want luxury) is a disney hotel. It may appear they cost more but you save on park parking - which really adds if up your going nearly every day. They are also close so fuel costs are low and you get extra time both in the parks and not travelling. You could even two hotel it? We usually do a villa followed by a disney hotel. Very different experience. Both work with young kids.

BTW has anyone found any cheap(er) attraction tickets sites? I'm looking and prices seem really samey or really dodgy!!

We always stay in a Disney hotel and there are some great deals with free dining for next year from Aug onwards. We don't hire a car and last trip we spent a few nights at Hard rock hotel in universal which meant we got front of line passes for all their rides and shows.:T

I've got to be honest the only thing that appeals to me about a villa is the private pool but my daughter loves pool slides and making friends on holiday so its a nice hotel for us.:D

Not sure about other ticket sites but www.attractionticketsdirect.co.uk are reputable.

Have to agree with the above post, they do price match with other uk ticket providers, we found floridatix dot co dot uk - but couldnt find anyone who had used them.

Have just got busch gardens, seaworld and aquatica for £72 from them and 2 park universal for £72 each per adult.

They last for 14 days from first use and they send you real tickets, and as were going in 12 days they are couriering them to us to guarentee there arrival before we go. We didnt even ask for the courier delivery so nice touch, also a very helpful lady on the phone.

Got the disney ultimate 14 day from thomas cook for £197, but they will be at our hotel on arrival....... we'll see......

i use American Homes for my villa hire and the prices are very reasonable. they are run by a really lovely couple and the houses are on the 27. if anyone is interested i will try and find a web link. i am not very technically minded.

Mike i would recommend the gulf coast beaches particularly St Petes which is so relaxing with the children. however the accomodation is more pricey when you have got used to having a luxury house in Orlando but you do not need to spend money in the same way.

I see Disney has bought Marvel Entertainment, so does that mean some of the Universal Park rides will now switch to Disney ie, Spiderman, Hulk
