Disney-cjd and atro1- thank you so much for your helpful replies. I think I have found a villa (Champions Gate area) for £400 (ETA: damn it! this is near Davenport, isn't it? Is this a rough area?)
I am now looking to buy tickets for Disney and universal studios. Ideally we only want 3 days at Disney, so am really reluctant to fork out for a 5 or 7 day pass- they are too expensive.
I found this site: (not allowed to give a link!) wdisneyw dot co dot uk
which sells this "2 day Base Ticket (2 day base tickets include a $5.00 service fee. We offer them as a convenience for our customers)". It seems too good to be true (my understanding is it is for 14 visits to a park- only 1 disney park per day).
Has anyone used this website, or has any advice for me on buying Disney tickets for 2 adults and 2 children for only 3 days?
Many thanks0 -
Finch, Im really interested to see your results on this one, we too have been in the 5 day dilemma, especially as It my birthday one of the days and I'll get in free. We are getting the 5 park orlando flex ticket, that definately seems like a great package, as opposed to grrr disney who seem to want to have you for 5 whole days all to themselves:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Finch Champions Gate is a lovely area, bit far away for the purists from the 192 but everything is there.
The ticket you are talking about and the site you have posted i would imagine is the official Disney site. A two day base ticket gets you just that 2 days at a Disney park! No hopping and maybe the 14 day bit means it expires 14 days after you use the first visit.
Try this site http://www.ticketmania.com/ and pick up your tickets from Billy Boys opposite Medieval Times on the 192. Very good and reliable. They do Universal as well.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -
Finch You have plenty of time to get your tickets. Have a look around at some of the British sites. Also Travelzoo come up with some weird and wonderful deals. Hang back and watch because most deals are posted on Here!!Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0

I would also try the Dibb villa section. But for me the Dibb is a little to big and impersonal. But that is my opinion! not held by many others.
No I agree completely. The people are really nice, but the sites information is not always correct. And lots and lots of repeated posts. But lots of villa owners there who you can ask for deals
