I have ordered our park tickets, ended up getting them from FloridaTix as I hadn't realised that Travel Republic charge £19.odd credit card handling charge! So we've paid £8 more for the tickets but saved £11 in total so I'm happy! And we're getting the $10 Planet Hollywood voucher which is good!
My Mum grabbed a load of voucher books for me when she was in Orlando so I now have a stash to use to plan where we're going for cheap meals etc. I'm still considering the Eat and Play card though as it can be used for some places not in these voucher books, and some of the shopping coupons are along the lines of $10 off $70 spend... I don't want to spend that much before I get discount!
My parents did mention that the shops seem to be having major sales at the minute so anyone going soon will find some great bargains; they went into Macy's which had loads knocked off in the sale and then took an extra 40% off at the till!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
I've found this website which looks great. The 5 day Premium Ticket looks perfect for our needs.
http://wdtc.disneyinternational.com/?Custom=True&Banner=False&Introduction=False&News=False&Offer=False&Store=False&Flag=LBI
But when I get through to the part for buying the tickets it says exculsively for UK guests.
My questions are:
If I bought 2 tickets for us and took them with us would anyone notcie my friend is a US citizen and
If so does anyone know of a similar website where we can get park tickets and hotels as a package for a UK and US citizen?
Thanks for any advice. Although my friend's been before it will be my first visit so everything's very confusing.
If you book it in the UK it doesn't matter what country your friend is from. They certainly won't mind that she isn't a UK citizen. I haven't checked but I believe WDW is offering free dining for your dates if you stay at a moderate resort or above.

That's why we're planning it from the uk. We can get a much better deal. I thought it was strange that on the side of the website it says for UK residents only. Unless they wanted to see our passports I didn't see how they were going to enforce it.0 -

... and if you show your UK passport to the Customer Service desk at Macy's, you will get an additional 11% off (because I think they take the tax off, or something).

I'd also like to do Universal as Virgin Holidays are offering a free :money: 2 day pass. My question is could you get from Port Orleans to Universal via the Disney Parks, for example, Port Orleans to Magic Kingdom then is there a bus stop for International Drive and then retrace our steps back to Port Orleans.
Does that make sense? thanks for any help.

Thanks for this info, I think I have found the bus info on trip adviser, it mentions the Lynx bus at DTD and also at Magic Kingdom.
I'll PM you if I can't figure it out.
Thanks again for your reply.Don't wait for your ship to come in, swim out to it.0 -

It's best to get the bus from PO to DTD to maximise your day, otherwise you will have to get a Disney bus to MK and the Lynx then doubles back to DTD before heading off to ID.
Have a look at the Dibb before you go as there is loads of info on there, well worth having a root around.0 -

I never, ever knew that! Thanks Karen! Anywhere else it works? Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.
