    BM, and anyone else......

I'm looking at tickets and can't decide! Want to do
MK, AK, Hollywood studios and Epcot

Only in Orlando for 7 days but can't decide on 5 day ticket or 7 day ticket and hopper options. Head says 5 days, heart says flex of 7 days and hopper options would give us most options.......Particularly with the LO as could go early, leave after lunch and go back in evening or pop in just for a firework show or something without using a whole day IYSWIM?

Also who should I book these through? Looking for 2 adults and 1 under 3 (so free)

Also wondering about character breakfast booking. I was thinking that I wouldn't book this for our first morning, but our second (a Thursday). That sound sensible to everyone?

    Thanks in advance.

In all honestly we did a character breakfast and was not that impressed, however we loved Chief Mickey's for evening meal, my son was 3 at the time.

Going back again in November (:j:j:j) this time my son will be 6. Skipping character breakfast altogether, may do Cheif Mickey twice :D

    Hi Guys

Were heading over to orlando end of next month for what will be our 7th visit in 2 years!!

Now while we know the Orlando/Kissimmee area really well we were thinking of a hot air balloon ride might be something to try out (its the GF birthday too while were there)

Anybody able to recommend a local company?

    Thank you!

We have used Orange Blossom http://www.orangeblossomballoons.com/

twice now and absolutely loved it! We went as a couple the first time and took my parents the second. Mum was terrified at the thought, but they both felt it was the highlight of their trip after. Be prepared for a very early start though!

Just a quickie... the breakfast at animal Kingdom has been the for us - breakfast-o-saurus if they still do it!! It's quite small and you get loads of time with the characters who are dressed in their jungle gear.

I thought Chef Mickey was really over-rated for the extra price you have to pay for it. It was nice, they did the birthday song for DD (but we was not aware of what they were doing when they did it) but it is such a huge restaurant you have to wait for ages for the characters to come around, I'd not go again.

Thanks for your experiences blueMonkey. I think breakfast is a better meal for us as LO is an early to rise, early to bed type of girl ;-) and it looks better value to me? I was thinking of Winnie the Pooh and friends at Crystal palace.....

    Hard rock hotel inside Universal.

Oh fab! We've stayed there twice and love it. It's far from cheap though when you are there

Definitely recoommend trips offsite for cheaper eats

I far prefer the Winnie the Pooh meals (at the Crystal Palace restaurant) to Chef Mickey's. The advantage too with the CP is that if you book an early breakfast, you will get the most amazing photos of your family in Main Street USA, with the castle, as there are no other people to get in the shot (except for the few other people also with character breakfast reservations). It's a perfect time to go. The food is pretty nice too, and the character interaction is great. The Crystal Palace has a lovely setting in a Victorian conservatory style building, with beautiful topiaries. There is usually a conga type dance with the characters that most children love :T

Chef Mickey's is the quintessential Disney character meal - loud (very loud), lots of choice, high energy. Of the two, I prefer CP.

If you mean Breakfastosaurus in Dinoland USA, sadly that is long gone. It's now at Tusker House in Africa :) I haven't been so can't comment on the clothes etc but I'd imagine the jungle gear would make an appearance :D
