Hi guys
Need some advice please. We're off soon to my daughter's wedding in Florida. After the happy couple jet off on their honeymoon,
We have a few days in Orlando before flying home. Most of our party are off to the parks but I will be staying put in the hotel as my Mum (who is 82 years young!) has broken her wrist and will not want to venture far. Can anyone recommend a hotel with very little walking to some shops and restaurants.I'm thinking International Drive but I'm open to any suggestions. Many thanks -as always
Janey
quality inn international drive very clean and fresh with friendly staff all within very easy walking distance to shops, bars and eating places of all different price ranges/quality something for everyone.
went in march and would not hesitate to go back there have a look on trip advisor for more details0 -

That's what we do - though I've no idea if that's a Disney endorsed action or not0 -
Hi There
I'm a newbie so sorry if this is in in the wrong place, I want to take the kids to Florida for the theme parks but i'm overwhelmed by the choice. Can anyone recommend where to stay and what theme parks are the best?. I'm so confused by the sheer size of the place I dont want to book the wrong thing. Can anyone suggest a 7 day itinerary?
Thanking you in advance - Billy0 -

It depends on the ages and likes of your children Billy. Young children would not be wanting to ride big coasters for example, and older kids would find Magic Kingdom a bit boring. Likewise, if they do not like water the water parks would be a waste of a visit. Mine would not be interested in Kennedy Space Centre but others would be there all day.
The thing about Disney is that YOU need to choose what you want to do.
Maybe tell us their ages and we can all give our recommendations.
Will you be driving or taking the bus/taxi's?
What food do you want to eat. When do you want to travel?
The possibilities are endless.0 -

For your first trip, consider 14 rather than 7 days
Reading the first post in this thread will be a good place to start, so people can give you appropriate advice.0 -

Origionally was looking at 3 bed and had a budget of £1300 ish but now my in-laws are coming for part of the time so need a 4 bed, this tends to push up the cost, Im going in August for 3 weeks, any help would be greatly appreciated.

We have stayed here, the family are from Blackpool, and are great to deal with. Hope this helps.

we have rented through ths site too, it is a syndicate of English owners and the contact is John O'neill who lives in Manchester and is vwery helpful, most of the villas are on Emerald Island which is a great location.
Hope this helps.0 -
Hi
Sorry for posting here but I thought people on here might be able to help.
My DW is into American fiction (the sort you cannot normally buy in the UK). She has asked me to try & find out whether it would be cheaper to post any paperbacks she buys back home as a parcel.
I need to find out whether there is any duty to pay when they arrive in the UK. I have found the postal costs from the US Post Office.
Many thanks.Going down the Oteley Road to see the Shrewsbury aces! :T0 -
Would love some answers to the following please:
1. Roughly what price will we be looking at for 2 x adults, and 3 x children aged 4, 2, and 2 this time next year ie any time during school holidays?
And if possible
2. each price for each popular option ie a) staying in the resort park, b) staying somewhere else with hire car, or any other recommendations as all will be welcome.
3. Cheaper to book in advance or ultra late deal ie less than 24/12 hours before departure?
Thanks in advance0
