Yes flying from Bristol on 11th July. To me it's a huge bonus NOT having to travel to & from the hellhole that is Gatwick.

I would advise everyone to sign up to the cashback websites mentioned in one of Martin's articles. I've made getting on for £1000 from them over the past 2 years. My most recent being £80 on my son's new mobile and £45 on my car insurance.

We tried to but the prices crept up from £500 to £640 each at when we decided that we was not waiting to book any longer - a few months on they are now priced at £2k each as they are sold out on economy. Its the chance to take to be fair. Had we waited we would not be going.

agreed we booked for this xmas..18/12 - 1/1 in feb this year... since then the flights have gone up and up and its nearly as much in premium economy as we have paid for upper class flights...

Must do Universal Harry Potter as kids 9 and 11.
    Happy to receive advice.

Well we are off in April next year and found www.usrentacar.co.uk very good, as they are very competative and we used them before when we went to New England. Found them to be cheaper than Carhire3000 for other dates, especially when uou have a hire car with no extra to pay for an additional driver.

I have just checked my luggage allowance for my Thomas Cook flight in 3 weeks and we are allowed a stingy 15kg each:eek:

I think I am going to need some lightweight cases and there wont be much being brought back this time:(

Does this weight allow for hand luggage too or is that seperate?
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

From the Thomas Cook website http://www.thomascookairlines.co.uk/baggage_information.asp

"You are allowed one piece of hand baggage only which must not exceed 5 kg in weight or 43 cm x 28 cm x 23 cm in size. One piece of hand baggage includes handbags, laptops etc, anyone carrying any more than one piece of hand baggage will be referred back to check-in. Pack photographic film in hand baggage as low dose X-ray machines will not affect it."

Ooh, Virgin have 23kgs each, I thought I would check on the allowance. There are 4 of us so I'll keep one allowance 'spare' to anable us to being some stuff back.

I've just been buying loads of lightweight clothes I can take with us. Buying all of the summer stuff now else when we go in Nov we will not be able to get anything summery.

I've just joined what looks an excellent site as i am hoping to visit Florida with my girlfiend in Sept/October this year. I was wondering if anyone knows of the best websites for prices for the disney hotels. Its my girlfriends first time in Florida so i want to make the trip extra special for her and especially get use of the extra magic hours that come with staying in a Disney hotel

Any help would be much appreciated!

Yes, I got some great bargains the other day with the Tesco 30% off clothes code - my house is just full of clothes waiting for everyone to try them on!!

Yes, hubby has had his eye on the currency going up too. Fingers crossed.
