I am off to Kissimmee on 11th July and I have a question for anyone who's recently shopped in the big Walmart on the 192 next to Medieval Times.

My son is autistic and will only drink Blackcurrant based squash. When we were there 2 years ago Walmart stocked Robinsons Apple & Blackcurrant amongst other British food products like Cadburys dairy milk etc. I would normally need to pack about 4 bottles of Ribena in my cases and they really do weigh things down. Has anyone been in this Walmart recently and can say if they still stock the Robinsons?

I know to many this sounds trivial but trust me that with an autistic child it is a BIG DEAL.

Any help would be hugely appreciated.:T

I have a child with autism so I do understand what you are saying. Have you tried taking empties and topping them up with whatever you can get.... ;)

Obviously they would weigh less, for my son he would see the bottle and that would be enough.

Maybe you could take one full bottle to fall back on and other empties, top up first then if that does not work you would have the one bottle of ribena to fall back on while you hunt for an alternative.

Heck, I have problems if I cut his sandwich into triangles instead of squares!!

    Hi

I definitely remember seeing blackcurrant and apple Robinson's in February.

Having said that, if it's really important I probably wouldn't take the chance, and instead would view it that it doesn't matter if the cases are heavier on the way out - as it frees up luggage allowance / space on the way back for any shopping you do :)

He would definitely know the difference as I can't even get him onto Ribena light. Also his sandwiches must be triangles so I hear you on that one LOL.

    Thanks Karen as well :T

For something that could be a deal breaker for your son I'd use one of the budget telephone companies (1/2p per minute) to the States and call Walmart the week before and check. I use a different WM, last time they only had orange.

I was wondering if anyone could help please, we are off to Orlando in 4 weeks time and I am looking to buy

2 park bonus tickets for 14 days to Universal and IOA

3 park ticket for Bush Gardens, Seaworld and Aquatica

The cheapest I have found are £82 for universal/IOA from themeparkticketsdirect.com and £73 for Bush/Sea/Aquatica from http://www.themeparkdirect.co.uk/ but havent heard of the latter (bought from themparkticketsdirect before)

Just wondering if anyone else have used this company?

    Thanks in advance:)
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

    Hi all

not been to Orlando for 6 years but looking to go back this Sept/ Oct - does anyone have any recommendations for a hotel around International Drive that has a kitchen area? Looking for an actual oven/ hob so we can keep the cost down. Looking to do this as cheap as poss but somewhere decent and clean!

    Many thanks

have you thought of stopping at a villa??
i stayed at hotel last time (quality inn international drive) booked for next year in a villa and works out so much cheaper if there are a few people going, not to mention you have full kitchen facilities.
i am stopping in the kissimmee area but i am sure there will be villa's around i-drive try googling see what comes up

Hi there, thanks - there are only 2 of us going so I don' think a villa would work out price wise - although if I could find one cheap enough it would be great!
