    Hi..
Am off to orlando in May. We've got our Universal passes, but was wondering if you can buy tickets for Blizzard Beach & Epcot seperately without buying the whole Disney park pass, or can you just pay on the day when you get there?
Should've taken notice last time we were there but was too busy trying to take everything else in while we were there lol!!

you can pay at the gate but you will que up for a while day rate for epcot would be about $90 i think slightly less for waterpark.
what i did was go to a ticket booth on i-drive that sold used tickets with days left on still $50 dollars for an ultimate with 1 day left on it then got guest relations to put extra days on for $3.50.this option is ok so long as the 14 time limit from first use has not expired, some do not have the time limit they are valid for as long as there are days left some expire 14 days after first use regardless of if it has unused days.

the booth is a bright yellow building under the wooden go kart track opposite pizza hut about 1/2 a mile from sand lake road heading in direction of universal

Posted this on main thread, but got no response, so giving it a go here.

Need to keep in touch with home and other travellers in US for 3 weeks while I'm in Florida and came across this RED POCKET sim for my unlocked mobile.

    http://www.simcardguru.co.uk/red-pocket-usa-pay-as-you-go-mobile-phone-sim-card.html

Seems pretty good call rates. £15 inc delivery from Australia, with $10 credit.

Used the $30 Net10 deal from Walmart before, but would rather take my own phone this trip.

Anyone used/ heard of it/got anything better?

OMG! Did you actually get on holiday to USA last year after all? Did you lose all of your money or did Virgin accept some responsibility - apart from the money this must be a huge disappointment for anyone (especially if you have children also).

Have a great holiday this time and hope all goes well.

thanks TurnaroundSue, I had to go ahead with my two boys who had their own passports ( they were 16 and 17) but my husband and DD (11) had to stay behind.
Virgin said that they had two flights on the Tuesday and they would give them a free transfer but had no way of finding seats for all five of us so we had to fly on that day. I was devasted and spent the whole flight crying behind my dark glasses, and was still snivelling when they arrived four days later :(. To make it worse, i had to sit next to two people on the flight who were sitting in my DH and DD seats!
Struggled to forgive myself but we went on to have a fantastic time, and as I said , we are off again in two days time :j

first time visitor to orlando in June. a quick question, do they check photo id on your 1st day at disney as it says on tickets (14 day unlimited pass)? if what do you take for photo id, not keen on taking 8 passports!

Just returned from Orlando. We had booked a 14 day unlimited pass & had an A4 booking receipt from Disney with barcode, person who booked it details etc.

Go to the 'Will Call' ticket booths at any of the Disney parks, they will scan the barcode & ask for photo ID of the person who made the booking. You'll then get the idividual tickets that will need signing on the back.

When you enter the parks you'll need to put your ticket through the machine at the barrier & adults will need to have their right index finger scanned (a bit like you have to do at US immigration now). My kids, 6 & 9 did not need to do this at the Disney barrier. There are usually plenty of Disney people at the barriers to help people out if things go wrong.

    Just another quick ESTA question.

I'm going with my 2 DDs and my BF. Whilst we are travelling as a family we don't live together. Should I fill in 1 white form for all of us or a white one for myself and the girls and a green one?

    Many thanks.

What do you mean? If you are talking about shipping stuff home, it is rarely cheaper to do that than just to pay for extra baggage. That's the only link I can think of for shipping containers and a Florida holiday.
