Hi, I'm looking to go back to Orlando in June this year and have found direct Virgin flights with Holiday Genie at £460 each. Has anyone ever used this company or know anything about them?0
-
I've heard some horror stories about holiday Genie - but as with most you only tend to hear about those that go wrong. I compared Holiday Genie & expedia - both come up with really good prices - but with expedia you can also get cashback via quidco and nectar points too0

Hi - I am a little confused about the ESTA, but from what has been said once your get confirmation here that everything is okay then they cannot deny you entry into the US once you get there - am I correct in thinking this is right? As I was led to believe that just because you get granted the ESTA that doesn't automatically mean they cannot turn you away on arrival at the US (confused)
ps can't find the confused smilie - anyone knows where it's gone? When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying! :rotfl:0 -
Hi..
Am off to orlando in May. We've got our Universal passes, but was wondering if you can buy tickets for Blizzard Beach & Epcot seperately without buying the whole Disney park pass, or can you just pay on the day when you get there?
Should've taken notice last time we were there but was too busy trying to take everything else in while we were there lol!!LHS No 2220 -

No you are wrong unfortunately. Even if you got a US visa you can still be denied entry when you turn up.
The reality is though if you get confirmation here when doing the ESTA then you will be fine.
Questions i have been asked over the years:
- How much money have you got available (important to note this is not what you have on you, but what you have access to)
- Does the childrens mother know you have brought the children to the US (i'm a single parent)
- When did you last visit and for how long.
- What are your plans? (On my entry form i put a really unusual place (Barstow) for my first night, they just wanted to know what i was doing, as it happened i had just got off 2 flights which totalled 30 hours so only felt i could the 100 miles or so toward Las Vegas)
Honestly though, the US is not in the habit of turning people away, despite what you might read in the media. The Summer Holiday of a Lifetime0 -
Thanks Mr L - will complete the ESTA and hope that they come back ok. We are hoping to go in October so will the green and white forms still be in force then - and also what do they mean? Never been the to US before so not sure of the significance of them - sorry! When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. The green form is basically the ESTA on paper and the white is a customs form. You need to complete a green for every person but just a single white for a family. The ESTA is supposed to replace the green but nobody knows when the green will be removed.
Worth noting that you can collect the green and white forms from checkin normally and then complete them while waiting to depart. Saves struggling for passports etc on the plane when what you really want to do is settle down and instead find yourself spending ages filling in forms (I end up doing all 5 of ours).0 -
