Worth noting that you can collect the green and white forms from checkin normally and then complete them while waiting to depart. Saves struggling for passports etc on the plane when what you really want to do is settle down and instead find yourself spending ages filling in forms (I end up doing all 5 of ours).
Thanks for the DB - I will be doing all our forms too, so a good tip of using the airport waiting time constructively - cheers:beer:When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Thanks for the tips Dinglebert. Really don't like filling in those forms on the planeJanuary Grocery 11/3740

Hi,
I'm not travelling til October, at which point I'm going to several places in California. I wondered if you might direct me to any MSE threads around the Disney in CA? I've searched but there only seems to be threads for orlando and eurodisney.
Also, I believe I'm quite unprepaired... I've only ever travelled in europe before and I read the past few pages of this thread. I've paid for Virgin tickets and filled in all the pre-travel information, however, I was not aware of this ESTA form? I've looked at the website and would like to know if this is a mandetory requirment and if so can anyone advise of any other things I may need to know?
I'm sorry if this info is already detailed in another thread, in which case, again, I'd be grateful for any appropriate links,
Thank you! ss0 -

TurnaroundSue wrote: »Hi - I am a little confused about the ESTA, but from what has been said once your get confirmation here that everything is okay then they cannot deny you entry into the US once you get there - am I correct in thinking this is right? As I was led to believe that just because you get granted the ESTA that doesn't automatically mean they cannot turn you away on arrival at the US (confused)
ps can't find the confused smilie - anyone knows where it's gone?
You have no RIGHT OF ENTRY the US. The Office of Homeland Security (any branch) can deny ANYONE WITHOUT REASON - Thats what makes me laugh when I come back here from my hols in UK and see Brits arguing with immigration officials, well that's going to help!
ESTA guarantees NOTHING, the last say is the immigration official at your port of entry so BE NICE!C. (Ex-Pat Brit)

Am off to orlando in May. We've got our Universal passes, but was wondering if you can buy tickets for Blizzard Beach & Epcot seperately without buying the whole Disney park pass, or can you just pay on the day when you get there?
Should've taken notice last time we were there but was too busy trying to take everything else in while we were there lol!!
Yes buy as you go - Disney never refuse your money! It may be cheaper to buy multi park tickets than buying individual, but all WDW stuff can be bought as you go.C. (Ex-Pat Brit)

Honestly though, the US is not in the habit of turning people away, despite what you might read in the media.[/QUOTE]
Mr. L. = so right especially Florida, after Citrus Fruit, Tourism is our biggest employer and they tend to be very lenient where the tourist dollar is concerned. However Sexual or violent criminals (if you have them you'll need to get a visa not an ESTA) and bad debtors are not wanted and if they find out you lied to get ESTA or Visa they will not be pleased.
Again though 2 week tourist are likely to be allowed but if you are planning to stay they WILL dig deeper.C. (Ex-Pat Brit)
