I was just thinking this today that because of the exchange rate we were getting the tickets for a cheap price here...well Disney's raised them.

Aren't the tickets linked to your fingerprint?

In which case how could somebody else use them?

They do scan your fingerprint however on the last trip OH and I swopped tickets, went through, scanned fingerprints again using each others cards and we still got in ok:o

Be careful with the ticket biometrics (not fingerprinting). My husband injured his hand the day before we flew to Orlando. When we went through the airport - we'd been through plenty of times before and they well and truly had our prints on file - the customs officer let him off without unbandaging the finger. When we got to Disney (of course it was the biometric finger that was most damaged), they wanted him to take it off. Scanning it with a light dressing on did not work and he had to show his ID 80% of the time to prove he was the ticket holder. I couldn't scan my finger and let him through either.

AIUI it states very clearly that tickets aren't transferable and you may be liable to have tickets cancelled if you try to use ones that weren't purchased for your use.

    Hi
Ive been looking around to see what tickets Im going to buy definately want to go to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kindom, Universal (to see Harry Potter!!) and would like to visit Seaworld as havent been before and have come across this: Themepark Tickets Direct do 14 days access to Both Disney and Universal for £299 then Attraction Tix do Seaworld ticket for £72 this would give us freedom to go where we want when we want.

Also saw 5 days Disney, 2 Days Universal and 14 days Seaworld for £301 but then we prob want more time in Universal and dont want to be as limited in Disney!!

    What do you all think?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

Does anyone know if there is anywhere that is still doing the 14 day disney ticket for £210?
Just called disney and they have increased their prices yesterday form £210 to £225 and from £189 to £199 for kids.

Just booked mine with Pillinger travel - they are still only charging £209 per adult and £183 per child for Disneys 14 day ultimate ticket. Found this on the dibb and if you mention this to them they will waive the booking fee. They charge 2.5% credit card fee but only £1 for debit cards. HTH.

    Hi everyone!

Just wanted to pop onto this board and say thank you to everyone (especially KarenG) who answered all my questions about our Florida trip. We got back a couple of days ago after having a wonderful two weeks. The advice I got from here was invaluable.

I did pack fleeces following advice on here and it was lucky I did as the weather was up and down - glorious days, then tropical storms and tornado alerts! I did the trip to Typhoon Lagoon and loved it there - but held onto my bikini bottoms KarenG!!

I just wished I 'd remembered to pack our ponchos as we got caught out in a downpour and had to buy them from Disney (about $7 each), when I had some at home in the garage!! So, I would advise anyone going to take some with them - or pick them up in Walmart (about $1 each) or Supertarget have really nice Disney ones for the kids for $4 each. Even if it doesn't rain it's a good idea to have them for the water rides - my daughter got so drenched on the Kali Water Rapides we had to buy her new shorts!!

Just can't wait to go back now - am planning next trip. Just hope I can scrape the money together! But, thanks again for all your help. We got the birthday badge for my son in Disney as suggested on here. He didn't want a character lunch with cake as he 'didn't want a fuss' (he's quite shy, bless him) but everyone was really sweet to him all day.
