Does this seem right to you all? Seems loads to me! lol.
Scheduled flight prices are usually released 330 days in advance, so a bit early to tell yet.0 -
Hi everyone
Just wondering because of something that was said earlier - can you use your Disney 14 day hopper tickets t'o get into Disneyquest at Downtown Disney? It rained one day when we were out there and we didn't even give it a thought to go there - just assumed we would have to pay extra to get in?
Just handy to know for future reference!
TIA x0 -
I don't know about hopper tickets but if it's the 14 day ultimate, then yes, you can get into Disneyquest.0

Hi everyone, i've read quite a lot of the posts, plus 'brit guide to orlando' & 'unofficial guide to wdw' but still have a few questions if anyone could help. we are staying at wdw in april for 2 weeks with ds 8 & 3. no car.
1) is it easy enough & cheap enough to get to international drive, supermarket , malls & restaurants on buses?
2) we want tickets for universal (1 day), IOA(1 day) & seaworld(1 day) which at the moment seems to be cheapest direct from their sites, but is there any hidden costs for us buying from them apart from tax( which i believe is 6%?)?
3) even in april (after easter) will it still be really difficult to book a cheap/moderate wdw restaurant when there or just turn up?
4) will it be quite chilly on a night (thin cardi or fleece)
5) i know it's a personal thing, but could anyone give us an approx figure for spending money needed. we will have quick dining plan & $550 gift card but may want extra snacks & defo souvenirs & toys!
thank you0 -
TurnaroundSue wrote: »Hi - Please forgive me if this question has already been asked, but with so many questions and so much information on this site, it is impossible to read each thread; so I apologise in advance. We are going to Florida in hopefully October this year, but don't want to do the parks every day. I am trying to find out what a daily ticket would cost, but can't seem to find the price. My question is: would it be cheaper to order the tickets before the end of March so I can get a 14 day pass for the price of 7 and then only use it for the few days I am intending, or is it cheaper to buy as and when we visit the parks. There will be 3 of us, myself and 2 children aged 17 and 12.
Many thanks for any help you are able to give
Don't apologise for asking, it is the best way.
The other great thing about these tickets is that you can park hop so can do one thing in the morning and then another park in the afternoon. You might think you will not want to do this but we did this quite a bit. Would be good for waterparks, seeing shows or parades for example as some things you might want to see are not on every day - or a ride you or the kids really want to go on has broken down (Test Track was out a lot when we went), you cannot hop with daily tickets.
We are going in October too.0 -

1) is it easy enough & cheap enough to get to international drive, supermarket , malls & restaurants on buses? Depends which resort you are in ansd where you are going. You would go the Transportation Centre. The Disney buses to Magic Kingdom stop at the Transportation Centre. This is where all buses stop and where all of the Lynx buses go from. You can go to http://trip1.golynx.com/?info_page=help and look for the routes you want to go to and from.
2) we want tickets for universal (1 day), IOA(1 day) & seaworld(1 day) which at the moment seems to be cheapest direct from their sites, but is there any hidden costs for us buying from them apart from tax( which i believe is 6%?)? Have you tried Expedia, they give 12% cashback on tickets.
3) even in april (after easter) will it still be really difficult to book a cheap/moderate wdw restaurant when there or just turn up? Yes, book in advance to ensure you get a table. There is 6 month waiting list for some restaurants (makes amental note to book Chef Micket for DD birthday in November!!)
4) will it be quite chilly on a night (thin cardi or fleece) It has been when we have been, be prepared, tie it around your waist, pop it in a rucksack or hire a locker.
5) i know it's a personal thing, but could anyone give us an approx figure for spending money needed. we will have quick dining plan & $550 gift card but may want extra snacks & defo souvenirs & toys! Really depends on where you shop, what you want to buy and what you want to do in all fairness. Be prepared to pay $15-$20 for a toy, cap, hat, $30+ for t-shirts. You can get these cheaper at Walmart and we plan to go there in the first day. You can spend a fortune in Disney - it is knowing where to stop as you have 4 different themed parks to get things from.
thank you
My answers are in red
What resort are you stay on?
I would also recommend the Disney photopass (I think the other parks have them too), we are going to do these rather than risk hubbies expensive camera, plus it means we all get into the shot which you do not do otherwise. We never understood how it worked when we went last time because it was quite new but we was gutted when we got home with about 30 pictures on it and realised we had wasted such an opportunity for some great pictures.0 -
Complete orlando have an advertisement on their website for the free dining for 2011 and it seems the discounts for OKW and SSR will be on again.0

Thanks for that BM, a really good point. Will definitely book tickets before the end of March to get the offer. When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying! :rotfl:0 -
