Hi all, I hope someone can offer some friendly advice
I will be travelling to Florida in June this year, staying on International Drive opposite the Wonder Works place. Single parent with two kids 11 & 9.
I have read the whole with or without car debate and I fall into the 'without' camp due to my holiday package. Also read small snippets about the I trolley and Lynx? buses, I will be visiting both Disney and Universal parks and was hoping someone could help with getting there either on the previously mentioned means or if financially feasible a taxi?
I don't want to start the whole with/without debate again just a nervous traveller hoping to have a hassle free holiday with the kids!
Many thanks to you good people for any tips or advice in advance.
have you decided what parks to go to?
i have bought the 2 park Universal ticket (only 1 child in the party of 5, almost 12 and a trill seeker, so dont think we are going to "do" disney, and i also bought the "Go Orlando" card, i got the 5 day pass, it covers admission to lots of places, Wonder Works, Kennedy Space Centre, Ripleys believe it or not, Gatorland, choice of a dinner night once you buy a card with 3 or more days, check it out on the link below, again i will update on how it worked out, the only thing im worried about is transport really, with no one driving,

Put this on the main thread, but thought I would put it here too in case it's missed. has been on HUKD and Travelzoo, so don't expect they'll be around long.
Few flights to Sanford from East Midlands, Gatwick, Manchester and Birmingham.

Hi - Please forgive me if this question has already been asked, but with so many questions and so much information on this site, it is impossible to read each thread; so I apologise in advance. We are going to Florida in hopefully October this year, but don't want to do the parks every day. I am trying to find out what a daily ticket would cost, but can't seem to find the price. My question is: would it be cheaper to order the tickets before the end of March so I can get a 14 day pass for the price of 7 and then only use it for the few days I am intending, or is it cheaper to buy as and when we visit the parks. There will be 3 of us, myself and 2 children aged 17 and 12.
Many thanks for any help you are able to giveWhen you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying! :rotfl:0 -
Both your children will need adult passes (age 10+) so think it would be a lot cheaper to buy over here than buying daily tickets, how many days would you want to do parks & which ones?2023 wins - Rice Krispies, Avene Micellar Gel, Barbie Toy, £20 Apple Gift Card, KFC 6 piece bargain bucket, Chloe Nomade perfume, Barbie Toy (second one), Sanctuary Spa Sleep Balm, E45 Moisturising Lotion, Trolls Hamper, 12 Tonie Characters, Sure deodorant, Good Home Utensil holder, £5 Costa Gift Card, Neutrogena Micellar Jelly, Soap & Glory Mascara, Persil capsules,0

Turnaroundsue.
Most UK ticket sellers do not do 1 day tickets because Disney sets the price at which they are to be sold. But to give you some idea try this site http://www.ticketmania.com/ they have the whole range of tickets. And pick up is from Billy Bobs opposite Medievil Times on the 192 a good firm to deal with.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -
If you buy a one day on-the-day Disney ticket it will cost you around $75+tax around £50 a day so even if you go for 4/5 days it will work out cheaper to get a two week ticket incl. water parks, park hopping and disneyquest0

Many thanks for your replies and the link to the website atro1. From those prices I would be as well to buy the 2 week ticket (and only pay for 7 days) and just use what I need. Am only just starting to look into the disney thing so not sure what parks I would go to yet. Need to get my socks on tho and decide as they need to be bought by the end of the month -yikes!When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling.
