Congrats ttc40. About time we had a bfp0

Well only just had time to properly catch up. I'm so sorry mrs h. That must hurt like hell. Big hugs to you and take good care if yourself xxx
Ttc40 remind me - you were on clomid? Is that right.
I was prescribed clomid today. I could choose 4-6 months. Went for four after he scared me about ovarian cancer. Didn't like doc in general he seemed to rush us and when I asked about clomid affecting cbfm he said of "course it wouldn't"
Also I wasn't offered a scan or anything. Is this normal? They won't be monitoring me at all.0 -
TTC, I am so happy for you. Like, so so so so so so happy!!!!
You have given me some hope that even after lots of clomid cycles BFP's do still happen. I know you had triggers and if you would send me a PM with some info on what you had done I would be very grateful. £200 for an app, scan and trigger seems like a billy bargain. £150 for ONLY a folly tracking scan at my local clinic!!!
Congratulations again14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130 -

Yeah. Most PCT's don't offer folly tracking on the NHS sadly. You should be having blood tests though...how else will they know if the drug you're taking is working otherwise. I got given forms so I can just go straight for the blood test, but if you haven't got anything similar maybe speak to your GP?
AFM, CD17 and 1dpo. Yay. That makes me happy. Testing day is my birthday. My previous 3 pregnancies have all been February conceptions and I've always got the BFP a day either side of my birthday. I definitely ovulated yesterday and my temps have been higher this month which is good.
I'm really keen to learn more about TTC's treatment program. If it doesn't work this cycle, I want to try and get in with a private clinic to for next cycle.
It's so nice to genuinely feel happy for someone as I always do on this thread. I tend to find myself being more resentful on t'other thread
MrsH - I'm so sorry to hear it didn't work this time. As someone else said, you have time to deicde what your next plan is and don't have to rush into anything. You must be gutted and I can't offer anything other than my prayers.14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130 -
Thanks lilymay. I hope you're feeling a little better now?
Hmm. I am ovulating. But I have crap eggs. Would a blood test just check if I was ovulating? Need to research this. It doesn't help that I bury my head in sand most of the time! Ill do some googling0 -
And I wish you a very happy birthday and that you get an amazing birthday present0

Thanks. Yes, a BFP would be a lovely birthday present. The only one I want actually. Got my next FS appointment on 8th March so will atleast get some concrete answers about where to go next.
Yes, the blood test simply checks progesterone levels which increase after ovulation. It varies from clinic to clinic but I think anything over 15 for a medicated cycle is considered to indicate ovulation. Last cycle mine level came back at 46.
How do you know you have duff eggs? I think late ovulation is my problem...even on 100mg of clomid I only managed to ov on CD16.14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130 -

Agree, I'd like to know what you did and the clinic you went to. I'm on clomid but not being monitored and its seeming like a waste of time (and bad sleeping!)
Congrats TTC0 -
My egg level AHM (!?) was 11 so not good. No other reason or problems. Googling clomid is making me scared I'm not being monitored. Some nasty stories about0
