Feeling a bit down today. Diet is doing great and keeping up excercise but know that I am going to be really depressed when af comes next week. I know that this is only been a month of diet change and using cbm and I won't be pregnant but I can't stop hoping and I am going to be so disapointed.Yearly Grocery Budget - £100.77/ £3500. Good morning all, x
Hamish, oh hun we do know only too well how that feels. Yes, you will feel cr*p but at least you'll be back at CD1 and we were told the dietary changes take about 3 months to show any improvement, so don't give up hope just yet. Every cycle you are in with a shout, so every cycle is hopeful.
Must start to listen more to myself!
Yes Becs and Ginvzt, still very low here and just trying to get through day by day. We still make a right pair, but I'm avoiding going back to the doctor for now, we've got enough to deal with. I hope you are both doing better than us!
So I was up very early again and am making banana muffins for a change... well, my bananas were beyond peeling now and really needed to be used! So slightly more healthy than the brownies, but still yummy. Kettle is on and they'll be done in about five minutes! Anybody coming over?! LL, what are you baking next - and Ginvzt, I'll have to give jasmine tea a try - that's one I've yet to experience!
Sarah - I'm so glad it went well. I call that progress and you'll be able to look forward now and see things happening, that can only be a good thing. Try to stay motivated and determined and you might just achieve those goals easier than you think!
Wishing everybody a great day and a warm and cosy weekend, x0 -
Am I too late for muffins? I would love to try a banana one!!!!
I think I will start my 'Christmas gifts' cooking this weekend. On the menu is limoncello and arancello (not for me!), biscotti, cranberry and white chocolate fudge (never made that one before, but I am going to give it a try) and another sort of biscuits called 'baci di dama'.Maybe something else if it inspires me. Now - just need to get cooking, or they will never be ready in time!
Leopardlady - I came here this morning hoping to hear some happy news finally, and I am very impressed that you managed to hold on so far!!!
(On the happy stories, OH's colleague had a baby in the last couple of weeks. They were told that they cannot have children and then one day they didn't use any 'protection' and next thing they knew was that they are having a baby! It is a girl and I have seen the photos. I am not sure I want to go and visit (my OH was suggesting yesterday that we go and say congratulations together, as I never knew either of them, it is just that new dad and my OH are working together! And i am afraid I might be too depressed afterwards...)Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -

LL - will be keeping everything crossed (well nearly) that you get some great news this weekend
Lilo - how lovely for that lady, I always think it's so unfair when people you know will great mums - like all of us - struggle and horrible oiks seem to pop babies out all over the place
I don't think I ov'd this month, had 2 scans for the follicle tracking on day 12 & 16 which I think was too early, then had a blood test day 20.
Phoned docs today to get blood results and have been told to make appointment. I'm not overly worried as my docs aren't great at reading my notes - they keep sending me reminders for smears even though I tell them I get one done every 6 months when I go for my cancer checkups - so they probably haven't worked out that I am already undergoing investigations at the hospital (I was referred by a different GP at the same practice).
Does anyone else bleed when they ov? Only CD19 I had a short stabbing pain roughly where I think I should ov from and then slight bleeding - I think it would just be spotting for people with a cervix but for me (us incl Lilo & Shelley) there isn't anything to act as a filter.
Not sure if we have bd'd at the right time so I'm on the 2ww now!!!
I have been quite emotional for the past few days, bursting into tears all over the place and to make it worse I'm going to see my friend tonight who 2 weeks ago said in an email that she missed AF in Sept because she forgot she was due and was on holiday, AF was due the next day and when I asked for any news then changed the subject. Emailing yesterday she has told me she has some news for me tonight! AT which point I burst into tears and went shopping!!
Thankfully OH will be with me later, we are not staying over and I am driving home so if I get too overwhelmed will be able to make our excuses early. I am very excited for her, I bought her a little cuddly toy from childrens Ikea (it will stay in my handbag if her news is something else!!).
It's just - they have only been trying since March so it should be my turn now!
Wishing you all a lovely (and dry) weekend.
xxAFD May 8/150 -
Oh, hugs nadine!
I know what you mean about 'the turn' and those jumping the queue! It is had - and one reason I don't want to got to visit OH's colleague is that I don't know how will I react. I would be fine there, but I am afraid I might drop down in the 'blue' sea. And even worse as I have never met them before.
But I did get some good news recently - I was trying to organise something for OH birthday (over two months away), so I invited one of his best friends (back in Italy) and he, his wife and little girl (she will be about 16 months then) are all coming to visit us for the weekend!!!! OH was over the moon when he found out, and I just know we will have great time all together!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Hiya hunny's - will have to pass on the banana muffins, Im allergic, and I dont want to add throwing up to my list of woes. Went to Docs this morning for my certificate, and was telling him about the virus I think I have - he thinks its probably mild swine flu! Im not sure really, cos I dont think I have a temp, although I havent checked. I do know that I dont want to get out of bed, and have spent the last 2 days on the sofa. Son is due to have the swine flu jab tomorrow, as he has asthma, but he hasnt been that well either. doc says to check his temp in the morning as he cant have it with a fever.
LL, have still got my fingers crossed, we could do with the good news on here. Obviously white pants are the way to go ....
Nadine, I seem to spot really easily now, particularly in the last 2 weeks. I usually have at least a day or 2 of spotting before AF arrives, and BDing can trigger that then too.
Im sorry everyone is down. The diet, exercise weight loss etc will all be increasing our chances of falling pregnant, so hopefully it is just a question of time and we will all graduate with honours!

Lilo
can I ask please - I was thinking of using the clinic in Wimbledon who do natural cycle IVF - which I think is the one you use. What is it like? It it very busy? Do they have timed appointments for scans etc or is it just a turn up and wait job?
thanx x
Sorry not posting regularly and then only asking you questions everytime I dobut 14 years down the line I have to distance myself a little bit from the ttc aspect otherwise it overwhelms me and I get very down. Like you I have a beautiful DS who was 8 on Weds (where does the time go??) so I really try to count my blessings.
