Woohoo, I did my injection and it was fine :j something else I have clearly been getting worked up about for no reason
Sorry for the grumpy post yesterday, I am feeling so much better today. I had a really good chat with a friend yesterday whose partner has had 2 successful ICSIs and I have booked an acupuncture appointment for tomorrow after work. I have also been advised to eat orange veggies and porridge oats, so have lots of carrot and corriander and butternut squash soups in. My kitchen looks like Goldielocks and the 3 bears as I faff about trying to get an edible porridge consistency.
Hope everyone has a good Sunday0 -
Glad the first injection went well, can only get easier from now on
So what's with the porridge and orange veg, how do they help? X xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

Thanks TL.
The porridge/oats thing I think is to do with mood swings, I'm sure I heave heard elsewhere that oats are good for stabilising moods, I got the easy microwave ones, the first one I made up was really runny, the 2nd was too thick and the 3rd looked okay but the taste and texture made me barf-am thinking of making flapjacks instead
The beta carotene in orange/yellow veg is meant to be one of these natural fertility booster foods. It can't do any harm I suppose.0 -
Do you ladies mind if I join this thread please? Have been on the TTC thread but a spate of pregnancies has left me feeling quite low today (happy for the ladies of course- gutted its not me though iykwim).
We've been TTC since April 2011. I've got endometriosis and PCOS- my cycles vary from 30 days to 40+, I'm using a duo fertility monitor to try and pinpoint ov but not sure how that's going as I've only had it for 6 weeks- we'll see!
Currently waiting for husbands SA and my HSG before am hopefully prescribed Clomid. I feel like a total failure for not managing to get pregnant- feels like the 12 years of contraception were a waste of time! lol.
Sorry for moping around on here...0 -
Welcome tea, I think we all feel that way about the other thread sometimes
Fingers crossed the sa and hsg go well and the Clomid does its trick x xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

I remember normal, now I couldn't touch it with a barge pole lol
I like to think of it as temporary insanity which will be cured by my firstborn. And then there'll be a whole new insanity lol
Have duo given you their money back guarantee? Looked into the device once but it said that they had to agree to moneyback deal so didn't think they would for pcos ladies xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

Normal seems like a long ago dream... I don't think I'll ever get there again one way or another!
Yeah I've got the money back guarantee. I emailed them before I bought it (you do a questionnaire thing on their site that tells you eligibility etc.) to double check if I was eligible. I bought it after someone I know got pregnant using one- bizarrely they emailed her to tell her to POAS. I think it's pretty weird to find out that by email! But now I'm slightly worried by the post that's up on here about 'don't be fooled' by them... I've followed all of their T&C and intend to keep on doing so, so hopefully it'll either work or I'll get the money back.
My experiences with them have been fine so far- have emailled them loads of times (probably about 15 times so far in 6 weeks) and they've replied quickly (within 24 hours) with really useful/ reassuring answers- especially when I'd forgotten to ask the FS questions. If you want to ask me any questions about it just PM me- frightened of being shouted at for spam! (NOT SPAM! )0
