Thanks to everyone for the clomid advice. I took it this morning at about 9am as that's when I remembered.

Welcome loulou. I sort of lurk on both threads although I did go through a stage of being exasperated with the other one so left for a while.

How are our 3rd cycle clomid ladies getting on? What CD's are you on...getting close to ov?

I'm on my 3rd cycle of clomid, day 13 today but not expecting to ovulate just yet as I took my clomid late (days 5-9) and you're not expected to ovulate until 5-10 days after the last dose. I'm just relieved not to have the mid cycle bleeding, that really freaked me out last month as I bled from days 9-16 but that is not happpening this month so hopefully was a one off. I'm scared to have my day 21 test this month in case I don't pass it again -although the doctor is likely to incrase the clomid if that happens.

Afternoon ladies - just a quick question as busy at work, will be back for a proper catch-up later.

I'm currently CD5, and am starting down-reg (buserelin injections) on CD21. Does this mean we need to use protection until then in case I ovulate before I start the injections? I know I should have asked this during the appt but there was so much info to take in my head was swimming. Was concentrating on trying to work out how to inject myself and forgot about the rest of the things I need to know.

I'm a bit concerned about starting the ICSI process on CD21, when potentially I could be pg by then... at least in theory, obviously it's a v tiny chance.

I realise this is probably a v stupid question!

Tealover - I was advised by my clininc to use protection for the cycle leading up to down regulation because they cannot say what effect the drugs will have on the pregnancy if you were to get pregnant. You wouldn't know by cd21 whether you were pregnant and so would be starting the injections. I have read of cases were ladies found out they were pregant after down regulation but personally I would not take the risk. Hope that helps and I haven't just waffled on!

Thank you! That was exactly my thought process. Atm we have the guaranteed protection of only DTD about once a century so it's probably not something I need to worry too much about!

Good luck tea. I can imagine it must feel very overwhelming for you, but like TeamLowe, I am excited for you too. :)

You know you've been TTC too long when even the animated babies in Disney films make you green-eyed :o

    Good luck tealover.

My blood results came back as E21686 - no idea what this is & LH 9.4 - again not sure if this is good. FS said they were good results - I have to assume he knows what he's talking about! He sent me a text with these results.

He said that the trigger injection should be done tomorrow morning - BD will be after Corrie on Friday night! I have said to OH that a Friday morning session would be good too as some swimmers could still be live & swimming by evening.
