Tealover - hope scan on Monday brings better news, how you feeling on the medication?

Rough! Still struggling a bit with the met. Was ok for the first month but once the dose upped to 1500mg it really upset my stomach. It's worse in the morning and then does seem to settle down a bit later in the day which is something I guess lol.

At the last scan they said if there's no progress by next scan (monday) they'll up the clomid to 100mg next cycle.

Hope it's all going ok for you.

ETO - best of luck for EC.
    Lisa - hope you're doing ok x.
BZ - hugs... just 'cos you might need one x.

Tea Lover i find the side effects worse when i haven't eaten much, have you tried having a bigger breakfast when you take it? what do you usually have?

In tww but not holding out much hope, did have some brown spotting today but i had a lot on monday night/tuesday morning after my smear so i assume it was left behind. plus i scratched my cervix last night as it was lower than i though. ooops

desperate to lose weight as i'm scared the gynae will say i need clomid and can't have it til i've lost but it's so so hard atm. i remember being this weight before when i was trying to lose it (put a bit on after mc, comfort eating ftw) and struggling in this bracket so i suppose it's a natural plateau of my body. trying that 5:2 intermittent fasting and it does seem to help a bit, was really bad the first fasting day but fasting again today (well, total intake of 600 calories) and i'm not minding it. and neither is my belly, suprisingly (also a metformin girl) was horrendous on first fasting day and i'm sure i'll pay for this tomorrow lol x x

I think that's the problem as I really struggle to eat much for breakfast. I usually just have some fruit. If I eat when I first get up it makes me feel really sick all morning (always has done), but by the time I've been up a few hours and could fancy something I'm stuck at work and it's harder to do. Plus I don't like leaving the first one too late as then there's not much gap between that and the lunchtime one - I'm guessing two in my system at once might finish me off lol.
  • Quick update I got a call from the clinic yesterday and they want me in for egg collection tomorrow morning. Nervous and excited at the same time. Probably looking at monday for embryo transfer. Just seems so close but still so far.
