It is daunting. But it's worth it

I've been doing the head in the sand bit, so I've not been around for quite a while, so ((((H U G S)))) to those that need them...And QQ fingers crossed for Monday! My FET success is an 18mo monster now!
As for me, I wanted to wait for 6 months after the M/C before even thinking about using our frozen embryos, but DH wanted to crack on.
So as a comprimise I called up today to get a consulltants appointment thinking it would take ages to sort, only to get one for the 16th July! (last year when I booked it was a couple of months away, but we had Christmas inbetween)
Mixed emotions really, excited to be doing something positive, and scared that this will be our last opportunity, and if it doesn't work we will try and focus on how fortunate we are, rather than living in this half-limbo that I know you ladies recognise.
I've only had AF a couple of times this year, last was at the start of May so tortured my self by taking a test today...BFN. Don't know why I do that. It's crazy that I still cried.
Anyway, QQ you are about to start a wave of BFP's on the thread so lets have lots of babydust flying around!Right now I'm having amnesia and deja- vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before0 -
Me again...
Following my letter from the fertility clinic asking me and OH to go and get a gazillion blood tests done I promptly did. The letter stated 2 had to be done on a certain day of the cycle so the wednesday after the double bank hols I turned up at the docs and they kindly fitted me in for those 2. I then returned last monday to get the other 9 done. The lady said the results will be available for you on such and such a day but I said I don't need them, just the fertility clinic does.
Forward to today and the postie delivers a letter from the doc stating further to my FSH blood test the doctor would like me to call to arrange an appointment or telephone consultation to discuss my results. I'm now panicking! Why would they need to speak to me? Surely something must be really wrong with me?
What could they need to tell me? Surely if it is just a simple fertility issue (like I'm ovulating fine or even if i'm not) then that would just be discussed by the fertility clinic in 2 weeks when I see them?
What else could possibly be wrong with me that would cause the doc to need me to discuss the results? Any of you any experience of this?

Sneezy, if its a telephone appt it doesn't mean anything is necessarily wrong or if there is hopefully it can be easily sorted. Sorry I have not had experience of this but I have had telephone appts with my Dr that are not to tell me anything that was terribly wrong. Sorry I can't help much more but try and not to panic.BEST WIN LAST YEAR - MULBERRY HANDBAGSENDING STICKY VIBES TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM

Sneezy, it could be that they need to re-do one of the tests.
That happened to me, but I'm very irregular.
Sometimes if your bloods are done on the wrong day of your cycle the results might not be accurate. So for example if you have a longer/shorter cycle, a day 21 test wont show if you have ovulated as your personal cylce means that would happen sooner/later than on a regular 28 day person.
That might possibly explain why they would be in contact before the appointment, as they might want to check it out before then so the fertility consultant has all the facts.
Good luck xRight now I'm having amnesia and deja- vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before0 -
Don't ask!
Trying to adjust to life without Mil, process the grief, keep losing weight, fit in the tests fs wants around the ridiculously lengthy bleeding I'm having, before going back to see fs at the end of august.
Has your OH been checked yet/going to be checked?
Enjoy the rest of your holiday, hope you're getting better weather than us Up North!

Hello ladies
I hope you don't mind me popping by for a quick question, it's nearly been 12 months since my miscarriage so I nearly qualify!
For a bit of background: I have PCOS, metformin gave me a regular cycle, got pregnant, unfortunately lost my baby, had two normal cycles then it went haywire again. Referred to gynae who upped my dose, wants blood tests and a hyscosy before my next appointment in September.
Have an appointment for HysCoSy on 3rd, funnily enough the day before what i count as my baby's anniversary, letter says we can't have unprotected marital fun before, but does anyone know what the rules are about after? Not sure when/if I'll Ov but I'd love to think we don't have to completely waste this cycle as I feel like we've wasted enough time with my stupid body not doing what it should as it is x x
Love to you all, hope this thread has no members very soon. Hope everyone's partners are ok today x xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

teamlowe - at my hycosy appt last month they said it was fine to keep trying in the cycle of the hycosy so long as it was definitely done before ov. I had it done on CD8 and am now CD24ish and still waiting for ov.
The only thing they were concerned about at mine was that you're definitely not pg when you have it done (no flaming chance of that here!)0 -
Thanks
just worried cos I think it might be in the few days after and I thought they might not want me to straight after cos of an infection risk if they leave my cervix open.
That is of course if everything's ok, giving a natural born worrier a letter that says 'this is an infertility test' wasn't the best thing ever lol x xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

Hello all,
Well I'm CD47 and STILL no period. I took Soy this month on CD2-6, never got a positive on the CBFM or OPKs, saw a faint line though
What's happened to my period, any ideas? I have taken lots of negative HPTs on the off chance, nothing!
I thought soy was supposed to almost guarantee you ovulating - a bit like chlomid?
So frustrating as when I get my period, I need to go and get some tests.
