Hi,
Pinkpeach I got a sick note and the doctor asked me what I wanted wrote on it, if your worried they are not going to be flexible about appointments I am sure your doctor will be understanding. My work view it as something I am choosing to do like a cosmetic procedure thier actual words :mad: wishing you lots of luck for treatment x x
Runner that's great you have 3 must be top notch to get to frosties x x

Organic knickers! Who knew?!
Something to consider anyway..
+++++++
I usually get stuff from either a small local organic supermarket or Planetorganic online - any other good organic websites anyone knows of?
+++++++
Despite the churros and sangria, I only gained a pound on holiday - which I'm working on getting rid of already! I am really enjoying being back in control of what I'm eating.
++++++
I phoned the NHS fs to get a new appointment, which I have now received - 23 June, almost too soon. Anyway, I asked about what my FSH result had been (the letter had only said 'fine') and it was apparently 5, which is normal.
Normally, this would be reassuring, but it turns out that while a bad FSH result is definitely bad news (although not 'the end' necessarily), a good result isn't necessarily good news. You need to know the estraediol result too, which I don't, and which she doesn't do routinely.
Anyway - I had reflexology today - it was lovely.
++++
Hope you are all well and feeling optimistic!0 -
Hi, me again! Just another question if thats ok? I've noticed a few of you mention here about acupunture/reflexology with IVF. I start taking my nasal spray on 4th July and was wondering if I've left it too late to start a complementary treatment. What with the work isses that I've mentioned I feel stressed at the moment and realise thats not great for my treatment. Failing that is massage ok instead?2013: Interflora Vouchers, Christmas Decorations, NNUK goody bag, thermos flask, macwet gloves0

Hi Pinkpeach,
I don't think you've left it too late. I do reflexology and I know everyones different but I noticed an improvement by my 3rd session. My 5th session i'd regressed a lot, but had stress so put it down to that.
I'm now in a place where i'm going to maintain more than anything but at £20 a session (first 4 were free, now I get mates rates) it's not cheap.
Day 2 of the sniffs here. I wasn't expecting the tiredness to kick in so quickly! Thank goodness it's Friday but i'm not sure how i'll cope with Glastonbury next week. :eek:
I've also been very emotional the last few days - that's more relief/nerves that we're finally starting. A little of the "what if it doesn't work" is creeping in too, but I know we can't think like that.
Onwards & upwards.
Nic, i'm so glad everything is fine with you. Hope you're feeling sick, sick, sick
SK xAfter 4 years of heartache, 3 rounds of IVF and 1 loss :A - we are finally expecting our miracle Ki11en - May 2014 :j
And a VERY surprise miracle in March 2017!0 -
I had a lovely day at Ascot yesterday but am paying the price for it now. Sitting at work feeling very hungover, too many Pimms and Champagne, well it is the first time in 6 months.
Pinkpeach - different hopsitals/clinics have different transfer dates after egg collection. Generally it is a 3 day transfer but like I said everyone is different my hospital would only do a 2 day transfer, perhaps something to ask next time. Its not too late to start acupunture I have it with IVF. It doesn't normally start till you have had your period and then it helps with the clear out and then you have some more when you start taking your stimulation drugs, as this is suppose to help the folicies grow and get a nice think lining.
Runner - nice that you have got 3 frosties and the choice. I've only got one and they said it might be worth just going again with a fresh go to see if we can get anymore frosties.
Nichart - glad everything is OK.
Chickpea - FSH sounds good but can go up and down anyway, mine was 5 this time but last time it was 11.BEST WIN LAST YEAR - MULBERRY HANDBAGSENDING STICKY VIBES TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM

Fantastic news!!!! Two will be hard work but such good fun too! And when you can't decide which bit of nursery equipment you want, you can buy both with a clear conscience

Extra special reason though to rest as much as you can and really make your oh look after you for the next few months.
Well done!0 -
