Hiya, dont compare them to 100% cos I dont think thats even remotely the norm! My hubster is a bit low, and we always have ivf or icsi, but have always managed Ivf - so dont worry. Have you tried the supplement route to improve his swimmers - it takes 3 months to make a difference but it really does.

Well, I have had my Vit D and Omega results back - they are both horrendous. Vit D is well below the norm, let alone the optimum and my omega 3 to 6 ratio is all wrong - so I get to have mega supplements - yipee!!!!! Oh well, at least its something else that could be contributing to my lack of bump!

Have a good day everyone - Im up to see the nutritionalist today - bye bye nice food!!!

Seeing the nutritionalist was really good - weve got to tweek quite a few things - less red meat, more fish MUST eat breakfast and lunch, and protein at every meal plus as many 'colours' in vegetables is the highlights. I have some supplements to take - a multivitamin inc folic acid, anti oxidants, plus my omegas and vit D and a magnessium supplement. These will hopefully address my deficiencies and altering my diet should help. No more than 2 - 3 cups of coffee a day, and max 4 units of alcohol per week. This was even though I drink organic decaf - apparently there are other stimulants in coffee as well. Main thing is keeping blood sugar stable. She also recommended less carbs at tea time, but could eat more earlier. She said that although my eggs are older, I can improve the environment, ie blood flow to uterus, quality of the lining etc.

It wasnt cheap, but I believe it was worth every penny - she listened to what I said and tailored what I said to a new diet. I have come away with masses of info to read through

Thanks for the lovely welcome everybody. OH takes multi-vitamins and I am on Tesco's own preconception tablets. Have been thinking about trying the soy tablets but as I do ovulate was wondering if I should? Any advice please?

    Whoah, ladies, page 4?!!!!

Juju, I must admit i've said to hubby many times i'm very envious of your VIP trip to Ibiza. We love it there, i've been 6 times now.

Well, i'm willing the day away here as tomorrow is my planning appointment at the BCRM. It is also my day 19, so god willing, we might be able to start the drugs tomorrow!!! It'll kill me if we have to wait another month! :o

I'm excited but also incredibly nervous now. A lot of it is the unknown I guess, but tomorrows appointment should sort that out.

Nic & Toni, I hope you're resting (stern voice) and I hope everyone else is doing OK.

Welcome to our new influx of newbies. I hope you won't be around for long (in the nicest possible way) The ladies on here are incredibly supportive and have got me through some very difficult, dark moments. I'm hoping they'll continue to do so over the next few weeks! As everyone keeps saying, we all have different issues and experiences so between us, we should be able to answer your questions.
