Had my blood tests on Monday as ordered b the Zhai clinic. I was horrified to be presented with a bill for £350! I thought it would be £100-£200 max. How bloody rude of them not to tell me when I signed up to do this thing. Will be reprimanding them. Luckily I have a forgiving overdraft facility but my account is looking very ill indeed at the moment.

Anyway, couldn't understand what they were all for (think it included ovarian reserve though) but the results came back fine, so I'm to start my nasty tea-taking soon. Just got to make another appt for my next (super-expensive, I suspect) session with Madame Zhai.

Toni, glad UTI is all cleared up, hope you are resting

Nic - great news on scan, everything crossed for you over the next 7-8 months

Sarah - super expensive!! I had the ovarian reserve one done and it cost me about £120. Be interesting to see what else you are going to need.

Toni, glad your UTI has nearly cleared up

Nichart, a heartbeat!! Congratulations and hope that the next 7 months go really well for you XXXXXX Stay in touch, and let me know when you want to go on the graduates list!

Juju and lisawood, try and keep your chins up, honeys. This is why I put IVF on hold for now, I felt that there must be something else, if I had a grade A embryo and still didnt get pregnant on the third attempt. If I find anything useful, I will let you know.

Sarah, I bet you are looking forward to those yummy teas! Good luck with it!

I am missing Chickpea and swopping notes re organic and natural! I hope she is enjoying Spain.

Thing is Lilo, I know the problems, we have had all the tests and know our immune issues.
And we did get pregnant, just my stupid blimming dodgy twisted tube got in the way.
Never again though, it is long gone :-)

All steam ahead for the next go then lisa - try and think positive thoughts if you can honey, it will help. And the tube is no more, so cant get you into trouble this time! If anything, it would seem that the immune issues are correct, you have the correct treatment and you got pregnant, so you can do it again, and there is no reason to believe that you will have anything other than a healthy pregnancy. Good luck!

I had a grade A and B+ embryo last time too Lilo and I didn't get pregnant that why I am looking into the immune side like Lisa. I think something must be wrong for me not to implant 3 times now. I am hoping something will come up and then at least I will have a reason and hopefully a solution. Lisa it must work for you next time I am sure it will

Come on AF where are you?

Juju, that is exactly what we have talked to zita about. I have been tested for Vit D deficiency, and also omegas (3, 6 and 9) and get the results on Monday. I am also doing the immune testing in September on her recommendation. I filled in a questionnaire about symptoms etc, and these are the areas that she felt were issues for me. I agree with you, if we are producing such good embryos why are we not pregnant - there must be other things afoot!

I have not been tested for any nutritional deficiencies but perhaps something I should look into, not sure where though.

AF has arrived this morning so blood test booked for tomorrow. Hopefully will get some bad results and then I know why its not working. If all normal then I am going to London to have the Natural Killer Cells test done.

    Hope everyone else is ok.
