Progesterone shots have always stopped AF completely for me hun, i've never had AF arrive whilst taking them, only arrives when i've stopped.
Of course I hope that you dont see the cow for at least another year!
Hang in there hun, I know how hard it is x2 angels in heaven :A0 -
I will be looking out for your good news x x
I still won't let myself get exited yet I wish we could be naive and not worry0 -
Hi all, god you lot have been chatty!
Good luck for Tuesday Toniq
Hang in there nichart, with all our good thoughts, it must work this time!
pink, it is a tough one, I have had 2 grandchildren and 3 great nephews in the time I have been trying, plus friends.(I have an older husband who has 4 children - lots more to come I expect!) There is no easy way. As you have said, the friendship is one you want to keep, and tbh you cant drop all friends that are pregnant, that is impractical, and you will run out of friends. If you feel able, you may want to share your news with her at an appropriate time, people dont understand unless they know what you are going through. Other than that it is the brave face in public, and the grief in private I am afraid. Keep coming on here and sounding off - we understand hun.
Hi to everyone else XXXXX Have a good bank holiday weekend peeps, liloLive on £4000 a year again for 20110 -
I think in most people AF won't arrive until one stops progesterone.Day 1 was May1st/2nd does that mean I'm due Af in next day or two? or does FET mean it will be delayed? or do the progesterone injections and estradiol pills mean af wont come till they are stopped?
Also I read FET may delay implantation.
Only way to know is to test I think:o
This baby is a sticky one!:jI'm still pregnant 15 tests later still don't believe it taking one day at a time but to come this far is amazing x x
(Chickpea, don't think about pushing pg ladies in front of the bus, it could be nichart or someone who's been TTC for years:o).
:shocked: Your baby would be younger than your grandchildren:rotfl:(Yes I know they are your DH's:)).liloandstitch wrote: »I have had 2 grandchildren and 3 great nephews in the time I have been trying, plus friends.0 -
Toniq - that sounds promising, fingers crossed. Last few days now!
+++++++
QQ - I hope I did make clear that I wouldn't *actually* push a pg person in front of a bus, so Nichart is not in danger from this quarter!!
And you make a good point, in that not everyone just has to sneeze to get pg - although it sometimes seems that way.
++++++++++
So anyway - I had the colonic! It was fine (surprisingly) not as awkward as I expected, and not as uncomfortable either. I won't pretend it wasn't weird, because it was. I feel more or less fine - and definitely 'cleaner'. I may even go back for a few more sessions!
I went to an organic superstore after and did a big shop of lovely things - lots of teas today - licorice, spiced, fennel, vanilla.
Lunch was chickpea and spinach curry and dinner is going to be chicken rendang with vegetable stir fry. Healthy eating really isn't so hard...0 -
I know I know:D (I know the feeling too:o)QQ - I hope I did make clear that I wouldn't *actually* push a pg person in front of a bus, so Nichart is not in danger from this quarter!!
It feels like everyone around me can get pg at a whim. Probably not true for some, but it just looks like that:oAnd you make a good point, in that not everyone just has to sneeze to get pg - although it sometimes seems that way.
Really, I thought it'll be painful:oSo anyway - I had the colonic! It was fine (surprisingly) not as awkward as I expected, and not as uncomfortable either. If this works, then you know we'll all be having colonics:D
PS. I've started buying some organic stuff recently too...0 -
Pink - I'm a compartmentaliser too! You do learn to be outwardly pleased whilst seething with jealousy inside. It's all the harder when its someone who you think should be behind you in the conception queue. I find it helps to remind myself that I don't know what they have gone through to conceive that child, they could have faced the same problems as us. Also, I do believe that things happen for a reason which helps even though it doesn't seem like it at the time.I'm still pregnant 15 tests later still don't believe it taking one day at a time but to come this far is amazing x x
Thats brilliant news! I'm not sure that 15 tests does your MSE credentials any good but I can't say I blame you! I hope you got plenty of cheapies and they aren't all cb digis! :money:I test Tuesday myself, Consultant wants test done Thursday x
Tuesday sounds like a good compromise...wishing you the very best of luck.Lunch was chickpea and spinach curry and dinner is going to be chicken rendang with vegetable stir fry. Healthy eating really isn't so hard...
Chickpea...eating chickpea? That sounds like it should be a sort of cannibalism! :rotfl:0 -
toniq, it all sounds very positive, i had cramping and lower back pain before my bfp, good luck for tuesday xx
