Hello....
Do you mind if I join you guys? I pop in and out on the TTC board, but as we've been trying for over 12 months now, I thought I'd move to here a bit more after QQ told me this board was here.
I'm 30, married and ttc #1. We started TTC seriously from 03/2010. I have erratic cycles (30 to 80 days) and only just went to my gp last week, where we were referred to the fertility clinic. I also had some bloods taken and the results are suggesting pcos. We have our first appointment on 07/06.
We've tried using the cbfm although never managed to see a peak. We've tried pre-seed too, and hubby is taking zinc and me the usual mother to be vitamins. I thought my lack of ovulation was down to my erratic cycles and my ability to pin down the ovulation day, but it seems that something else is the trigger for the erratic cycles. Hopefully our appointment is the next first step for us.TTC #3..........0 -
Hi Twigpig:wave:

I'm not coping too well at the moment ladies, not sure which of the meds is knocking me for six, really regretting trying again, working myself up for nothing.
Can't stop the tears, i'm crying as i type, had a ding dong with someone earlier, usually i'd brush aside and carry on, just can't believe i'm getting myself into a state.
now i remember why i leave it so long between attempts x#JusticeForGrenfell0 -
Ahh hun, are you on burserilin (sp) Apparently it is the downreg drugs that do it (its been a while since I downregged and FETs were all natural cycle so i'm not sure of the protocol)
I hope you feel better soon, I know that feeling all too well, the why the hell am I doing this moment.
Hope it gets better for you fast and it is all worth it

Aw toniq sorry to hear your having a rough time, I found a good cry helped, your so close to your transfer now I hope then the awful side effects your having go away and are replaced with other side effects ((((big hugs))))0

Cheer up Toni, think of the reasons why you are doing this and what positive result can come out of it. I know how you feel I have had a terrible couple of weeks. It's the drugs that are making you feel like this but soon that should all stop. Only a few more days to go till transfer, time to get excited and look forward to what might be. Sending you big hugs. Toniq, huge hugs - remember its the drugs that are making you feel like it, concentrate on the end result and visualise! Not long to go now, you are doing brilliantly! My injections were all in the stomach too, so I dont know about thighs, sorry.
Welcome twigpig, you are doing all the right things, and hopefully they will be able to improve your cycle so that you can DTD at the right times and optimise your chances. Jules Oliver has pcos, and she now has 4 (I think) so it is possible to overcome it. I hope your visit to us is a short one!
Nichart, good luck with your appointment next week! Me too, a week today I am SOOOO excited! (Edited to add, actually I am stupid, it is 2 weeks today doh!!)

Thanks chickpea. And also thank you, you have reminded me of all the things I used to do and have got too lazy to do - I shall have to go back to them all. It is a bit of a slog at times, but I lost loads of weight and felt great! I have already switched my deodorant to pitrock, and started buying organic. Will switch my coffee back to organic decaf, as that has a non chemical decaf process. Dont forget to avoid smoked meats, most of them are chemical nightmares!Live on £4000 a year again for 20110 -
