Lilo, so happy for you that you got your date!:j
Just 3 more weeks!
Runner, glad your AF arrived (I think?), will you be doing FET?
Hope your chickens are behaving today:)
Lisa, I'll probably do the same short protocol again, as I am older.
nichart, hope you caught your DH last night:p
I suppose I won't get AF until I stop those progesterone suppositories? My blood beta test is on Saturday, so I may as well use it up.
yes FET for us this time we have 3 frozen and will just have 1 put back if it defrosts ok,. have made a mesh gate for greenhouse door, the chickens are not happy
chickpea, sorry it wasnt good news (((hugs)))

Oh, there are days when I dont like reading our thread, cos we all have unhappy news.
Huge hugs to you QQ, I am glad you are looking forward.XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Chickpea, sorry about your news too, but it doesnt rule out pregnancy. You are like an older person, in that your reserve is further on than your age, but that should just means it takes longer, rather than be impossible. It is the quality which is fundamental. I know it is not the news you wanted to hear, but make sure you do all the quality things, and keep trying! After this IVF (which will of course work) we will leave it to nature only - cant afford any more attempts, and I am 42.
Nichart, fingers crossed you are next
Hiya juju, hope you are doing okay
I havent got a clue what my dates are yet - never done full protocol. Have briefed DH that I will be even more hell to live with!! I had buselerin for 6 months when I was treated for endometriosis and I was totally unreasonable. I threw the phone through the window cos he was late home! (ooops!)
Night night - liloLive on £4000 a year again for 20110 -
I don't usually get painful AF, but this one is different:(. I have cramps and diawoowoo. I suppose it's because of IVF:o Either that or I have food poisoning.
DH seems to have food poisoning too:huh: Could it be because of yesterday's Korean dinner? Or a mixture of both?0 -

Hi Lilo - yes, I have to leep hoping, at least for a while.
You are of course completely correct about doing all the 'quality' things. Now -could you refresh my mind about what those are, just in case I'm overlooking something!?
I need to:
Quit alcohol (done)
Eat better (work in progress, I'm on it!)
Quit caffeine (done)
Cut down on decaff tea and coffee (yes really!) (doing!)
Drink more water (it's my mission)
Take the right vits and mins (sort of working on it. I get confused. At the moment I'm taking folic acid, baby aspirin, robitussin at right times, vits e and c. I've ordered Royal Jelly. Is there something I'm missing?)
Get more exercise (this is a tough one for me. I am trying. I went for a jog yesterday - it's getting easier - and I have done a pilates DVD this morning. It was nice. I am power-walking on my lunch breaks and aim to get in a little swimming at lunchtimes too. I worked 6 hours on Sat, so I'll have enough flexi to do that.)
Sleep more (no need to say so twice!)
Chill out. I am off to do a fertility relaxation CD now, and then chill out for a little while with a candle. I'll phone my reflexologist and acupuncturist today and get them back on the payroll.
Have I missed anything obvious? (or anything that isn't obvious?)0 -
Morning ladies, have scan tomorrow, so should get transfer date in next few days, nervous doesn't even cover it, Truthfully the bfn's in here have knocked me for six convinced me it's not gonna happen x
I'm still shedding hair quicker than my dog, and moodier than a teenager.
Hope everyone ok xxxxx#JusticeForGrenfell0 -
Chick maybe look up food's u shouldn't eat,
You definitely need to knock taking Ibuprofen on the head fullstop, not just at conception times, I've read quite a few reports against using it if ur ttc.
I also left tampax behind and went to pads and moon cup as i knew tampax dry things out, sorry for tmi.
I changed all my knickers to cotton so I didn't end up with the wrong atmosphere down there.
I just take a sanatogen pre pregnancy multi vit, nothing else as i don't want to overload myself as my body isn't used to 101 diff pills.
I also buy water bottles just for me, as weirdly i'll grab a bottle of water from the fridge and sit down with it but wont make the effort with the tap?!?! x

Chickpea, you seem to be on the right track:T
Toniq, good luck on your scan! About time we got a BFP:j0 -
hi all this is first time i have been away from wedding forums so hope you dont mind me joining you.
Me and OH have been trying for about 3 years to conceive. we didn't visit the doctor for around two ish years as yes we wanted a baby but were just thinking it will happen when the time is right. Then we found out that his brother had a baby on the way as did my brothers GF neither of which were planned and this hit me quite hard as his bro has two children already and does not spend much time with them. And my brother and GF are both studying at collage so still quite young. That all gave me the push to be brave and bit the bullet seeing the doctor. we went to my partners doc first and were referred to hospital for tests after 3 samples they gave us results of two of the test were just below normal. We then were away when results came back for third results and we had just set wedding date so had lots on our minds and forgot to call for info on results. Around six months later my OH went to docs about different matter and doc told him he had a letter from hospital telling him he had a condition (not sure of name will have to find out from OH) which means our best chances are to have IVF but the hospital recommended in it was not available to us as we are out of the catchment area. This really upset me as i thought it would just happen for us like others. Since then i am changing my OHs docs to mine as think this will help my docs are amazing but i have not discused this with him yet.
sorry for rambling on for ages i dont really have anyone to moan and nag to who knows really how im feeling. OH is great but need someone with more info than we have. sorry again for long post thanks for any help xxxMarried the man of my dreams 27/08/20110 -
Hi Bargain Seeker:wave:
I assume your OH's SAs were below average. I wonder what the numbers were? If it were just a bit low, then one can try improving them by eating better, quitting smoking/alcohol etc.
Will you be referred to a fertility specialist?
Good luck:)0
