Good luck tomorrow Chick, hope it is pain free.

Runner - glad everything is moving forward for you.

    Toni - not long now!

CCM - pleased cranberry juice has helped

    QQ - Fingers crossed still

    Nich - Get down tonight!!

Lilo - hope AF comes so you can get started on IVF

I had my appointment today and got mind blowed by all the tests that I might be having. He seemed concerned about my ovarian reserve due to fact my age (33) and taking the highest dose of stim drugs he said I should be getting about 15 eggs not 8. He did a blood test to check my ovarian reserve and another internal swab to check out some infection I could have that they don't test on the NHS. £170 lighter and that doesn't include the £190 consultation fee. I came out feeling pretty crap really and very tearful (I know again). May have to got to the ARGC in London for further tests.

Sorry if I have forgotton anybody but good luck to everyone and sending hugs too. x

Juju ((hugs)) I hope what ever tests they do give you some answers it can only be positive if they can work their way to have the best possible treatment for you, the last ivf cycle I had I was on the highest dose and got 8 eggs and I am 29 (nearly 30) and do worry about my reserve and quality but just try my best to think positive it is bloomin hard though especially when you have been through a failed cycle, just wanted to let you know your not alone x x

Hi QQ - damn. Sorry it's a BFN, after everything you've been through so far. We were all hoping it'd be a different result.

It's pretty devastating. I can't really imagine how much though - I mean, I know about the regular BFN-every-month feeling, but when you've gone right through the IVF process to get a BFN at the end of it must be an extra-special kind of devastating.

    It's unfair.

I know it's not even 7 am here, but I wish I could pour you an extra-large glass of Merlot..

It is, but can't look back, have to look forward:)

I'd love to do it again, have to check with DH as he's paying for it, and it cost something like £8000:eek: (Would've been free on the NHS:o).

Earliest we can do it again is late June onwards as I'm away:o
I think it's good timing, I know they sometimes like to wait 3 months between IVFs for the body to recover. I don't know what my clinic's policy is. In that case it'll be July? Not bad either.

Just need to get DH on board, as we were planning a nice long Australian holiday in August...

Ahhh QQ. Am so sorry hun.
I admire your strength though, look forwards and not back and planning to go again already.
We will be going again around August I reckon so we may cycle together if you are on long and I am on short Protocol.
    Thinking of you x
