How bad was yours?:(
I was in agony, couldn't stand up straight and ended up in hospital and being given pethidine for the pain, this was before we had a blastocyst put in a few days later.
A scan showed my ovaries to be the size of grapefruits and lots of drained follicles ha refilled with fluid. I looked at least 7 months pregnant.
Just goes to show you can get OHSS even if you are aware of it and take precautions against it.
Unfortunately (at the time) the symptoms faded quickly, but if I had been pg then it would probably have continued and gotten progressively worse.
I have only had it once but that was enough.
They said to me that the most important thing to watch was the amount you peed out was equivalent to the amount you drank, and that you were not retaning a huge amount of fluids.

Perhaps I should go to the doctors, but they are closed on Sunday. If it gets worse, I feel like I'm going to explode. May have to go to the hospital.
Mine started few hrs after hcg booster shot at 6DPO, but subsided with that night being the peak. Thats until I did the last shot at 9DPO, it isn't subsiding:(
I'm 10 DPO.0 -

Does sound like OHSS to me, it increasing after the HCG makes sense also, although it hanging around could still be caused by your own hormones rather than artificial ones.
Hope you get sorted very quickly and feel better soon x2 angels in heaven :A0 -
QQ, RING THAT NUMBER AND GET YOURSELF CHECKED - THAT IS WHAT THEY GIVE IT TO YOU FOR. OHSS CAN BE SERIOUS.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE GET IT CHECKED.
Oh, and i hope your parents are okay - you do realise parents regress to children as the get older dont you! My MIL is back to about 5 at the moment.

OK, I rang the number and saw a doctor, not my doctor but she got him on the phone for me. Turns out he's abroad:o
Anyway, she agreed I have OHSS, and took some blood sample etc.
They are going to call me with the results.
I'm going to see my doctor on Monday.
Seems if you can walk and talk OK and there's no water in the lungs, it's not that bad:o
I was told to drink lots of fluid and eat protein rich foods. Upon googling, sports drinks are better than water, so I'm drinking them now.
I'll live:o
As for my parents, my mum seems to be fine, was discharged the same day (may not have been admitted in the first place I don't know), but haven't heard about dad. I've sent texts to my sister but she hasn't replied.0 -

The blood test came back OK, but will go to the clinic tomorrow morning anyway:)
As for dad, he can move his legs and arms. Not back to normal, but hoping it's a start:j0
