hey peeps

hope everyone is doing ok


not been on much as my laptop not working just right

as for the adoption my and hubby will do that if we cant concieve naturally - or would look into surrogacy but we are not looking into that at present. we thought as well even if we have our own we may adopt later on or do fostering depending on circumstances

currently about to enter the 2ww oh joys lol
but we have fertility appointment a week on monday so hoping for more info then
just need to wait and see

as for losing weight for the doc she wihsed me to lose half a stone well i excelled and lost 1 stone and 1/2 a lb. hoping to increase that though in next week. woohoo so proud of myself

I went to a wildlife park yesterday - nice day, but I cried at one point - everyone, but everyone was either pregnant with one kid in tow or had multiple under 4s!

Chickpea - Everyone around me seems to have either given birth or are pregnant around me at the moment. Im staying off facebook a mo cos im fed up of upsetting myself with all the announcements! It WILL be our turn soon xx

hi QQuaver yes day 9 have been having strange aches in my stomach and back ache since friday, don't know if that is good news or bad news, or maybe that i have spent a lot more time sat down than usual! off out with hubby for a early valentines meal in a bit so that should take my mind off things

Good Morning everyone, Happy Valentines Day and hope you all had a lovely weekend.

I think a lot of restaurants/hotels will have done well for Valentines Day this year as it seems to have been celebrated across the weekend as well as tonight. We just have a dine in for 2 for tonight after an extravagant weekend.

I had a lovely night away and was very relaxing. My body on the other hand just isn't playing ball. I have no idea if i OV'd or not. I usually get pains in my side (quite strongly) but hardly anything this month. I had some EWCM last week after the HSG. I did some OV tests and the second line didn't get so dark and by saturday was back to pale. So I either OV'd early (when I was having the HSG and refraining from BD - or I didn't ov at all. Oh - and I now have a yeast infection - so back to the docs for me.

Trying not to feel deflated. Gonna do some reseacrh into side effects of HSG as I haven't been the same since

Oh Runnerduck, absolutely everything crossed for you here, I feel your pain!
As for me here, had EC on Friday, got 15 eggs, 11 fertilised, they froze 3 immediately as they have a policy to only process 8 to blastocysts, at my clinic at least. As of a phone call at 9am this morning we still have all 8 growing strong, 2 are slightly behind but the rest are at 8 cells.
We have ET bookd for Wednesday afternoon then the dreaded 2ww (it will 'only' be about a 10day wait I believe)
Hope everyone is having a lovely Valentines day, hope that some valentines babies are in the making!
