The plus-side of everyone I know being pg now is that at least there are no more unwelcome surprises in store.

I expect my SIL who is currently pg with #1 (due Jan) will be pg with #2 by summer, as will another firned I know with a 9 month old..as will Kate Middleton, I expect, by summer).

As for me - I aim to get pg within 6 months - why not?!

    Sorry Gin.

Maybe the snow will give you an excuse to miss out on MIL? Give yourself some time for this to sink in. Nothing says you HAVE to feel fine about it - just look after each other.

Thanks all. I think OH is coming down with flu. He is all wrapped up in a new wool poncho my mum sent my for Christmas and then blanket on top, and a cat on the lap. He wouldn't take any paracetamol , Lemsip or anything else. Well, will see. We were supposed to go out for lunch today, but it was cancelled due to snow. We have quite a bit here for the first time this year. So, we dressed up, put our coats on, and then OH checked his mobile to find a message that the meal was cancelled. So, I did a bit of snow digging just for fun and cleared OH's from snow (it was probably 15cm+ of snow on top!).

So, we just finished off last night;s dinner for lunch and spent the rest of the day on the sofa watching recorded Mentalist, Big Band Theory and Dr House. I am looking for a Christmas gift for myself now (from OH!).

  • Hi,

Gin, sending you a big hug. Hope OH feels better soon.

Chickpea, I saw a Heron flying over my house last month and it looked so much like a stalk that I was convinced it was a positive sign - unfortunately it wasn't ;) BTW I reckon you are spot on about Kate Middleton !

I'm loving the snow - nothing like a movie day !

    xx

Sorry to hear the news Gin...

The wife and I will be doing another cycle in the spring. It's coming up to 9 years of trying now and just seems like we're on the TTC conveyor belt and can't get off.

hey everybody just popping by while in the 2ww due to test on xmas day too! arrgghh hoping for a nice gift but doubtful.
i wonder what can be done to stop sympton spotting, honestly i have been not too bad last few months but see this week not good, been headachey, feeling sick and sore muscles and just soooooooooooooooo tired. i am trying to put it down to a wee bug but i duno would just like to think more. its that way where no matter what im on an emotoional rollercoaster up then down, happy then sad, calm and angry. hubby doesnot know if im coming or going lol
i am not usually like this and have been desperate for anything sweet.
but its prob a bug and just wanting to comfort eat because of cold weather.
well hugs to everyone who needs them, and good luck b'ding
