Hiya jibs, well done you for what you are doing. Blog looks good - will become a follower when I can work out how to do it!
Still no sign here - 3 weeks late tomorrow! TOTALLY confused, seeing GP this week, so will ask him.

Jiblets, just wanted to say what a fantastic thing you are doing blogging about it.
After reading one of your posts the other day, I posted on another forum I use (where a lot of the posters are RL friends now) about our journey so far, and like you, found a lot of support.
I'm a lurker from the TTC thread and will (hopefully not IYSWIM!) be joining you all here in a couple of months. We've been TTC since August 09 when we got married, so only 10 months but we're on cycle 12 now. Have just been to the doctors and blood tests and sperm counts have been ordered but realistically we're looking at 3/4 months before all results are back so i'll see you all in a couple of months! (but will be lurking in the meantime!)

Evening!
Hi SK, hopefully you won't be joining us in a couple of months and have your bfp by then :j
Lilo - Its really annoying when your cycle goes a bit awry. Mines now on day 35, did a test yesterday and got a bfn as expectedJust wish AF would arrive so we can start trying again!
Bunnie - The last thing you need when you have Clomid hormones is very fertile friends. I have finished my Clomid now but remember throwing a clothes basket at my hubby during one of my Clomid moments!
Beebuzz - Goodness the London Marathon, thats brilliant. I am shattered just running round the block once a week!
Jiblets - well done on your blog, I think its a great idea

I've not managed to throw anything at hubby yet, work have been taking the brunt of my clomid fuelled moments by lots of throwing of paperwork on the desk and stomping about the office0

Hi everyone,
I hope you are well. Sorry I have not been online much recently, DH and I decided to take a break from things.
I don't know if any of you have seen today's article - interesting and hits the nail on the head for me - our experience mirrors this article as DH suffers from infertility yet they have no way of treating it.

Thanks for the link a very interesting article. My OH suffers with infertility and we have used the treatment of extracting sperm from the testes for ICSI, unfortunatly it didn't work for us but hopefully next time.BEST WIN LAST YEAR - MULBERRY HANDBAGSENDING STICKY VIBES TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM0 -
Ok, so I had my scan this morning. It is my last Clomid month and I have been asking when is my next appointment with the consultant every single month (I saw my consultant in January and he said to make an appointment for May).
So, the good news is that I have 1 good size (22mm) follicle and the lining is fine (9mm). This is a big change from last cycle, when there were possible 8!!!! I got my injection and we are to bd for the next three days.
The bad news is that when I raised this appointment issue, they checked and there is a cancellation for Thrusday. However, whoever took the note, didn't make a note ho is cancelling appointment, so they couldn't give it out yet. They took my mobile number and I might be getting it. This means, that I have to have BMI below 30 to get my IVF referral. I need to be 80kg or less for that, and I was 83.5 yesterday morning. So, I have to lose 3.5kg in three days... Pretty impossible. I might not be getting the appointment, but I still have to get on with my weight issue as if I do get it, I don't want to miss my chance. Although not good for my health, I am going for a minimal food until then, and gym gym gym....
Anyone has some tips how can I lose the weight so quickly? I know some of it is water that I can lose (not drinking anything for say 12-24 hours: not good, but it is only one day and I will be stocking back on it straight after the appointment...).
I should be happy that finally Clomid produced good result (it is my 7th and last cycle!!!!!). But I am worried, stressed and depressed about the possible appointment and my weight issue....Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
I used the slimming world diet before and found it really effective, usually in your first week you can lose up to half a stone. Good Luck!BEST WIN LAST YEAR - MULBERRY HANDBAGSENDING STICKY VIBES TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM0

Well, appointment confirmed - 3pm on Thursday.
I am just waiting for OH to come home, will make a bit of dinner (fish), and we are off to the gym.
I have joined Tesco diets a week ago, and lost 1.5kg last week, but now it is a second week, I will need to work harder. Also, because I only have 69.5 hours to lose the weight!!! So, it works out at 60g per hour... (I am a geek...)
Thanks all for support. The one thing that is good about this appointment, is that I won't have to keep waiting anymore. We will know on Thursday if are finally being referred for IVF and what is likely to happen next (and when).
I am probably losing my chance of getting pregnant this month with this extreme weight loss needed right when I am to ovulate (basically for the next 3 days we are told to bd like mad), but it is as it is...Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0
