When I saw you went to the same meeting I started to wonder whether you were the blond one or the brunette one LOL. Or, were you the couple that came in 30 minutes late
There's loads of paperwork to fill in. I had a frank discussion with Mr P about whether I could use the embies if we broke up/he died etc. He agreed yes which is a good job as that could have started divorce proceedings! OK, I'm being a bit dramatic but you know what I mean. Strangely I don't recall that I had to sign anything that said he could use the embies if I died!
WTDN, why do you want to drag it out? I'm an eager beaver and want to start the process NOW.
Some friends were eager for their little boy to be born in August rather than September. I always thought September would be better as the child has those extra months of development before starting school. But they'd worked out it would cost them an extra £10,000 in child care costs  That's 2 cycles of IVF  At the end of the day I'd love to have a child any month of the year.
Will you have to go back again for your CD 2/3/4 day blood test?
IVF buddies would be great.
Fingers crossed I'll be starting a cycle around the same time as you both at the Hewitt! Had my brain scan the other day. Have to wait one more week then I can harrass the endocrinology consultant to look at the scan and write back to the Hewitt that I'm good to go. Will have to find the reams of paperwork from May though! I'm desperate to start now. This waiting just kills me. I started af a couple of days ago and was sobbing for an hour in the loo. I'm desperately hoping that this will be my last cycle pre treatment but I think that may be a little too optimistic!
Quick question to you both... Did they mention if eeva was free for NHS cycles now or was I imagining that?0 -

EEVA is £800 but I don't know if embryoscope is free or not.
Mr P had his appointments today. He forgot his pot. The blood test went fine but he was very embarrassed about giving his sample. At my appointment the nurse said it takes 10 days to get the results signed off by every doctor and his dog. So we might get a letter in 3 weeks. In the meantime I'm still peeing on sticks.Pots: House £6966/£7100, Rainy day Complete, [STRIKE]Sunny day £0/£700[/STRIKE], IVF £2523/£2523, Car up-keep £135/£135, New car £5000/£5000, Holiday £1000/£1000, MFW #16 £2077/£3120

Should we have a secret sign to try identify each other?
I quite often sit in the waiting room wondering about everyone else, I don't think there was anyone on here attending the Glasgow Nuffield just now though. The last couple of appointments have been spent wondering if my donor is in the waiting room at the same time. Today is OTD, have just done a digi-still positive. I hope it is good news for the donor as well.
Thank goodness it's Friday, allthough I am off work for 2 and a half weeks now, yipee. I have lots and lots of orders in for my crafting sideline though, so will be very busy.
PM and MrsDavo, hope you're both okay today x
T2D, well done on the weight loss
Tea. have you come across this website? I haven't looked at it, but it was linked from the HFEA site.

We had to wait 6 months for a suitable donor as our hospital didn't have any when we first spoke about it.0 -

My fs said we needed to carry on otherwise we would lose the cycle but the bleedings not stopping despite the injections. I'm not sure if another increase will stop it but I fear not.how hard can it be to get 1 damn egg, that's all I want, just a chance, just for once some hope that maybe just maybe we could be pg:( got another scan tommorow. Doesn't help my fs gives one word answers
I understand hun,
Hoping for good news for you today. Is the bleeding still just as heavy this morning?0 -

Eeva isn't free?! I thought we all just got that. That's the time lapse system right? So that means we won't get the better stat of 57% unless we fork out £800?!
What do you mean mr p forgot his pot?! What did he do then?! Men eh!0 -

Good luck with your scan.
Hoping we all get to do this together
Peonie - yep have to go back for day 2-4 bloods probably (hopefully not) in a week or so. I'm want to drag it out cause I'm nervous I guess. I really wanted this to happen quick but now it's here I'm really scared.
PM I'm so sorry you must be beyond fed up. Seems a bit cruel to me. Hoping something positive can happen soon for you x0 -
I know it's a completely different hospital but just to add my 2p's worth (as ever
) when we had an NHS cycle embryoscope wasn't included. Think it's only (!) £360 at our hospital though.
That's similar to EEVA right? Otherwise just totally ignore me.... am not with it today lol.0 -
This may be a silly question - but isn't a embryoscope just a webcam watching the embryos? I can get a lot of them for £800!
I'm sure its much more complex, but would love to know why.
In NHS related news, I got the standard 'you are due for a smear' letter yesterday. It makes me doubt the interlinkedness of NHS systems.0 -
OK - doing some research Eeva is £800 as Peonie says. Still not sure about Embryoscope at Hewitt though. Also not 100% sure what the difference is.
Eek. May have to cut back this xmas...0
