I'm sorry PM - I hope that this cycle is not lost :-(

Good luck with the scan tomorrow. I've not heard from the hospital yet, going to ring them this afternoon if they've not rung me by then. I dreamt about the results last night!! They said it was better but still to go up to 150mg next cycle - premonition maybe??

Bit of a long shot but any anyone bleed on the injections? I'm trying to hope this cycle isn't over, if it is I can't see any difference next time round as its the lack of proper responce to the injections that's causing the bleeding :(

Sorry for the moan girls, feel like that's all I ever do.

Don't apologise PM that is what we are here for! It must be so tough on you, hope the bleeding stops. Not got experience of much of this, what injection are you on? Good luck at scan.

MrsD - good luck for test results, hope its positive news!

I'm at work at the moment having to listen while my colleague moans about how scared she is of giving birth (got pg first try, 26 weeks in) and other colleagues regaling everyone with their birth stories. !!!!!!, can I not escape anywhere? Is it possible to have a day where your infertility is not shoved in your face??!!

    Sorry, moan over. Hugs, x
  • Hi everyone - just spent aaaaaages reading up on the last 2 weeks. Can't remember the names but I did see 2 BFP's :j:j:j:j

Sorry to hear you are going through a rough time PartMouse.

Well I decided on CD4-8 to take a further 100mg of Clomid - being MSE thought I had better not waste my prescription. I did have EWCM one day last week but as we were on hols BD was no problem :D

And when we got home we had our letter from the specialist - 03 October 2013 - week today. So I will be planning to use my CB test next thursday morning if AF not arrived. Need to use it as it expires in November 2013 in any event.

    Hope all is well xxx

PM - I think you are on an unusual protocol, so it's hard to get similar experiences. My experience of Menopur was large doses for 2 weeks, so no bleeding at all.

I was thinking about you this morning. You definately are getting a different approach to other people. First with the tamoxafin, and now low-does menopur. Did you try Clomid first too? It seems a slow approach, but with a focus on trying to get a 'natural' bfp rather than via IVF.

Good luck with the bleeding though. Hopefully this works out how you want. If it doesn't work will you move to IVF. After two wonderful IVF success stories this week it's not such a bad thing!

I realised yesterday that my NHS IVF appointment is next week (2nd). Which means that I have a very imminent appointment to be under 30 BMI. I've slowly and painfully lost just on a stone over 3 months, and am on 29 BMI. I was here about a month ago, but put some weight back on! Losing weight is sooo slow and tedious...

I'm in a quandary again ladies.

Have spoken to the hospital and if we go for egg sharing it's going to be at least Spring next year before we can even start. :(

Have also heard back from the other possible clinic we were looking at and we'd need so much extra screening there (in addition to our notes from the first hosp) that we're still looking at months before anything happens.

This sounds so selfish but I just don't want to wait that long.

Which means we're now possibly looking at a fully self-funded ICSI cycle at around £4.5 - £6k.

Or maybe we should just wait?
