I'm on clomid Cycle 3, hoping this one is my lucky one :) My side effects have been extreme grumpiness after OV and occasionally rage, and I mean RAGE! I have had to go crawling to my OH to apologise. I seem OK this month though :D

SMEP means Sperm meets egg plan btw :) You can google it, I use it too.

I agree with this, I found Clomid effects didn't kick in until the end of the month, then I got moody, bad cramping (never had before) and really sore nip ples.

Good luck MrsDavo and Pinkteapot! x

Thanks for the good luck everyone.

Really trying very hard NOT to get my hopes up though.

TeaLover - Haven't seen the story but that does sound really sexist! Like it's only his wife's problem! Like we don't have to go through IVF sometimes just for male factor?

Picklein - Good luck for this cycle, are you on 6 months worth?

Have the other ladies on here I see regularly already gone past the clomid stage?

Am I allowed to be on here?

I came off the pill Jan 2012 ... We weren't trying very hard lol for the first year but over last 6 months (I) have been charting and actively doing the do during the "right" times.... So far, nothing. I am regular as anything (28 day cycle) and bleed heavy for first day then lighter on second day then just a bit for next 2 days or so. I have polycystic ovary (yes, i only have one due to other twisting and cyst rupturing when i was 13 - they removed the ovary) but I already have a son (8yrs) and I also had 2 pregnancies when i was much younger (teens, before i had ds) which i terminated (plz, no judgement) so obviously they didnt affect me then... admittedly, a bit scared they may have gotten worse over last 8 years, but am hopeful that as cycles are still "normal" and i still seem to bleed etc that it might be okay!

I am now overweight and although i try to be good, it just doesnt work and i am a fatty (size 18) :( I know thats not ideal but on the other hand, i know lots of overweight ladies who are pregnant so still hoping!!

Every month i hope and then AF arrives. Was a 29 cycle this last time and i was so excited... then she arrived. :( Hubby doesnt want to feel that we are "trying" (and therefore failing!) and am slightly worried that sooner or later we will have to admit that there is something wrong and it may possibly be with him (he doesnt have any children as son was with someone else) - really cannot see him wanting to go through the whole " sperm checking" business!

Anyway - dont know why i am writing this.... just kind of wanted to get it out. I work in a childrens centre so see newborns every day, my cousin has just had a baby, all my friends seem to be getting preggers and now with the royal baby i feel i will explode!!!
Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?

Hi Bigmomma- it can be quiet here from time to time! Plus the forum said it was closed for the weekend so people may be away.

There have been a few graduates recently, so not that many people on here at the moment.

You are welcome of course! Most people here tend to post a bit on both threads. The normal TTC one is much more active if you feel like a chat.

We should probably have a list here somewhere as to what people are up to. Doesn't need updating like everyday like the one of the TTC thread, but perhaps something to keep an eye on where people are.

What do you all think? Do you want to let me know some basic info - like age, ttc#1/2, and a brief update on what you have done, and what you are planning. Like 'researching adoption','IVF ICSI cycle 2 planned'. Include what hasn't worked only if you want, no need to empahsise what hasn't worked!! But at the same time, it can be helpful for others to know who to ask for advice.

I'll make up a list, and then update monthly or so. At the moment it feels a bit empty here with some long timers gone, and it's nice to know there are still a few people hanging about!

I really like the list idea t2d x

Edit: Now I'm on the laptop I can type a bit better than on my phone.

Me: TTC #1 since April 2011. I'm 28 and DH is 35. I have PCOS and have been diagnosed with primary infertility as I do not ovulate at all. I'm overweight and trying to lose weight in order to be prescribed clomid. In the meantime I'm waiting for AF so that I can have a HSG to check my tubes.

Nice one t2d, kind of you to offer to compile it. It's the sort of thing that takes ages on a phone.

Me: Ttc #1 since Jan 2009. Was on depo provera before that and had been warned it might take a while but this is silly ;) I'm 33, DH is 38. Had gp tests, mine fine his slightly low. Got 1st FS appt 19th Aug. Only tried a bit of ovulation prediction but not very regularly. My cycle is completely regular 28 days, nothing untoward diagnosed. Slowly going a bit loopy with it all ;)

    Xxx
35, OH 39, unexplained IF (all tests normal), no joy w/ 3 cycles of Clomid, IVF1, Jan 2015 - BFN. Currently in 1st FET cycle using endo scratch and EmbryoGlue, BFP 4th July. MC 12th July :'(

I'll update as people add their details, and then keep up to date from time to time. On the other thread if something changes that you want noted they mark it in magenta so that seems a good idea.
