Oh Tea I'm so sorry. :( Wish there was something I could do other than send virtual hugs. :(

Hugs to all the other ladies too, feel like we all need a big group cuddle right now. :o

Oh darling. Can't think what to say really, but I wanted you to know you're not alone.

Big hugs to you Tea, take care of yourself xx

I just did the test and got another BFN, after sitting and starring at it from different angles for several minutes I burst out crying, feel so stupid as was expecting the result I got, it hardly came as a surprise after seeing so many.

whattodonow - not on any meds at all, I have mild pcos (cysts on one ovary) but I had an external and internal scan, and blood tests at 2 points in my cycle and everything was completely normal, my hormone levels were fine, no sign of blockages, I'm ovulating etc, so not sure if there's any meds thatd help.

I just feel like I can't do this anymore, and that its never going to happen :(

Thanks ladies. I called the hospital (knew they couldn't do anything but didn't know whether I was supposed to let them know). In all the hundreds of times I've called them I think it's the first time they've ever answered the phone.

They said to stop the cyclogest, and they'd send a follow up appt for about 2 months time.

This sounds mad but I'm still in two minds about the cyclogest. It feels like giving up on my babies :(

I don't know what to expect now. So far I've only had what I'd call a bit of spotting, some brown/reddish streaks. Not all the time and not at all heavy. Will it get much worse? Am really scared that I'll see them, which I know is ridiculous as I'm only 5 wks and clearly things haven't been right all week.

I so wish I hadn't told my parents. They knew about the treatment so I told them the outcome, and now I have to tell them it's all gone wrong. My grandad's really poorly in hospital and will be going in a home next wk, we've been sorting out his house over the last few weeks and it's been really horrible. I told my mum about the +ve because I wanted to cheer her up, and now I've made it all worse.

(((hugs))) tea, i know nothing i say will make it better, as i've been there too many times myself, you won't 'see' them at this stage just some large clots probably. Look after yourself and give yourself time to get over it, i'm so sorry x

Don't feel bad about telling your folks though, you haven't made anything worse. x

  • Oh Tea. I'm so sorry. Is there anyway you can go to the clinic earlier to make sure? I know it would drive me mad waiting that long and they might be able to put your mind at rest about the cyclogest? We're here for you if you need us...

Sorry to hear your news tea lover. My last miscarriage started in the same way with test not getting darker, then very light bleeding. I was 6 weeks and didn't pass anything recognisable and didn't have very severe pain or even particularly heavy bleeding. I was terrified and fearing the worst when it started but although it was emotionally very distressing, for me physically it was not too much of an ordeal.

There is a very good miscarriage support thread running in this part of the forum which you might find helpful in addition to this one
