Lisa - Thank you for your post. I have been putting my life on hold for well over a year. It feelslikegiving up on the ttc dream making plans that don't include a baby/being pregnant but I think it is time to get on with things as this is obviously going to take a while. Sorry it didn't work out for you after all that time.

Tea - I agree with Lily and everyone else. You have put lots your time into that company. You have nothing to feel guilty about. Take the job and enjoy some of the benefits of being a harworker, you have earned it.

BZ - Hope things get better for you soon.

afm. Nothing happening here. Going to try and relax and have fun this cycle till the IVF assessment. Have a holiday to Holland booked for the middle of my cycle so hoping for some fun before all the IVF stress begins.

Hello sorry I haven't posted on this forum much, I'm a secret lurker on here!

I'm going to have a rant I'm afraid....

AF is late (by 4 days now, judging on a normal month for me) and I just can't test, as deep down I know its going to be a BFN and I just bear the thought of seeing another one. I'm just fed up of the whole thing, and I'm driving myself mad thinking about ttc and everything.

I've been trying for over 2 years now, my initial tests all came back fine (im still struggling to get hubby to have SA) but last cycle was long and now I'm convinced my pcos has worsened. I never thought I'd still be trying this long without any success.

I've even began to plan my future without kids,as it seems the likely outcome.

    Sorry for the rant xx

loulou, I am right there with you about how you're feeling, and we've been trying for the same amount of time. Are you on any meds or anything at the moment? Hubby needs to man up and have a test!!

lisawood, much respect to you. I can't even imagine what you've been through. You're so right, I am also one putting my life on hold by staying in a !!!!!! job for the maternity leave. I know I shouldn't but it's so so hard. Thanks for your words of wisdom xxx

Another BFN test for me. Bit annoyed as I can't figure out if I am due this week or next week or what because I don't have the stats of my first clomid month to go from (long story involving my luggage getting mislaid by an airline company whilst going on holiday, which included my CBFM and my thermom!... bit of an awkward moment when the customs guy was trying to get me to list everything in my bag 'is that all?... IS THAT ALL?' and my friend was standing there. I didn't mention it, then later started worrying they might have kept my case for inspection in case they thought monitor was a dodgy contraption, and the guy was trying to get me to admit it)....

Aaaaanyway, if I ovulated at the same time last month as this month I can expect my luteal phase to be THREE weeks long. Which is very annoying. I just hope AF doesn't turn up on Sat, as I have a wedding, and it was horrendous last time (hmm maybe that's because I had a longer luteal phase?)

I'm sure you didn't all need to hear this, but it helps me get my head round it if I put it down on 'paper'!

Lisa, I've forgotten now whether we've discussed this before, but had you ruled out other forms of parenting? Adoption and what not? I'm so sorry that you've had to get to this point, but I hope making a decision has given you a little peace.

I'm looking forward to hearing about the adoption process for others on here though, so you'd better not sneak off to discuss it elsewhere! :naughty::p

Even though with a 10 day lp I'm only due af on monday, I've had spotting yesterday and today and have cramps. Sigh. :(

Dh's scan is tomorrow though, so hopefully we'll get good news, for a change, and all will be well...?
