Aw, Tea. If it makes you feel any better, my hubby has just asked how you're getting on. And he said 'yay' when he heard your news xx0
-
Tea lover - don't stress my lines didn't get dark for a while to and I did lots of tests at different times if the day, obviously first morning one is the best. I didn't have any symptons at all, I had no morning sickness or anything and wish i did so I knew it was real. I had a bleed at 7 weeks, day before my scan and they said that it had implanted quite low and not to be too optomistic - my 2 week old proved us all wrong.BEST WIN LAST YEAR - MULBERRY HANDBAGSENDING STICKY VIBES TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM0

Aw, thanks vseviour, that's really sweet.
I'm so grateful for all the support & best wishes from this thread, just can't help feeling peeved that my own partner couldn't care less.
Juju, thank you so much. Hope your little one is doing well, it's so lovely that you (& the other graduates) keep an eye on us x.0 -
Tea - fantastic news! My hubby is also pleased for you. We have our ICSI babies waiting for us, and you give us lots of hope.
You will be pleased to know that O2 have made money from your BFP already! I couldn't wait, so while on holidays I logged in on the spanish phone network to find out if you had tested, and was so excited when I saw it was a positive!
Don't worry about your husband, he will come around. I don't think my husband has any idea how much this means to me, he is still of the mind where he assumes it will work - so any actual pregnancy may not be that exciting for him.
Jujugaboo - good to see you too. I think it takes a long time for people to move on from this thread, I think it's different to the other TTC thread in that way as people tend to stick around longer and make stronger 'friends'.
AFM, I'm back from a lovely holiday with lots of old Italians and Spanish people, but DH and I had a great time. Lots of laughter and good fun which has been missing for a while. Plus some BD'ing (which had been banned up to that point) which was reassuringly ok. Not perfect, a little painful, but a good start.0 -
T2D glad you had a great holiday
just what you deserved!!
I'm getting fed up with the other thread which is very unfair of me I know. Just sick of people disappearing and then popping back up to say sorry I haven't posted in ages, ooo I'm pregnant. What is wrong with me?!?!First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
I know I probably shouldn't have done this but I thought I'd do one last test, with fmu. Used same make of test as Fri (which wasn't fmu). There's barely anything there, the palest little smidge. Fri's test was faint but much, much clearer than this morning's, and still is.
I'm not bleeding but I'm still on cyclogest so I don't think I will.
What do I do?0 -
Sadly I don't think there is much you can do tea. I have had a couple of chemical pregnancies, with both I had + HPTs and within a few days of my period being late, began to bleed.
You could try a digital test, although the conception indicators on those are notorious for not being all that accurate.
Maybe the best thing would be to give your clinic a call tomorrow and see if they can offer you a blood test?
Sorry not much help I know.Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
Theres not a lot you can do tea, apart from waiting and seeing.
Your hormone levels should double approx. every 48 hours in the early stages. If you start with a hormone level of just 1, then it takes a long time for the hormone to progress and become more noticeable. Some people start with a much higher hormone level - but its not the start point, its how well it is doubling that is the indicator of how things are going.
Afaik you would still bleed on the cyclogest if the baby wasn't sticking. My SIL is going though IUI at the moment, and is taking some sort of progesterone supplement after insemination which I think is similar to cyclogest - and she had a longer luteal phase, but bled as a period 15dpo. So I presume if you were to miscarry, then you would bleed.
When I read up there were as many stories for people that it worked out ok for than those that it didn't. And I have had the same thing happen twice (tests not darkening) and the first time I had an early miscarriage and this time I am 9 weeks in and so far so good (touching lots of wood now!).
It totally sucks to wait. But that's all you can do
You might think about getting a GP appt to see if they will do blood tests - but also think that the blood tests don't alter the outcome - they just give you a little more information. And the anxiety of waiting for the results can be horrid (it defo was for me, and then the receptionist and nurse practitioner refused to give me the figures and I had to wait for a duty doctor to call over an hour later - which in the meantime I ad convinced myself it was bad news and that's why they wouldn't tell me. It wasn't bad news but that hour involved a lot of crying and howling and upset, and made me wish I hadn't had the "reassurance" bloods, as I was in no way reassured!)
Even FMU can have different levels of concentration, so its not an accurate measure.
Also, having twins can effect the reliability of clear blue conception sticks and the darkness of lines as your HCG levels are out of whack with a singular pregnancy.
Rest up as best you can, and try to take your mind off things if you can too. There is a mass of people with their fingers crossed for you out here, and we are all sending lots of love your way xxxxxxxxxxMarried my lobster in July 2011

Thanks ladies x. I'm really not hopeful, it was a real squinter this morning and I'm 15dp5dt, the line shouldn't be getting that much lighter.
Have just walked out of church. Got there and saw it was yet another baptism full of people that will never set foot in there again. Saw 2 pg ladies in 2 mins & walked out in tears. Feel like a right cow now.0 -
Tea lover, I'm really sorry. I don't really "know" you but I have read your story and was rooting for you and I know "I'm sorry" is weak and stupid but it is all I have {{hugs}}0
