Hey ladies, hope you're all well. Just a quick question...am I right in thinking that ec is the ivf equivalent of ov? I'm 13 days past ec, does that make me 13dpo? Currently 8dp5dt and finding this waiting v hard work.

You could always sneak a quick test in.... :D

It's something I wish I'd done more of when my IVF (finally) worked. I did the 'sensible' thing and waited until testing day. The joy of getting that positive test makes me wish I'd tested every day previously for 3 or 4 days, even if I'd tortured myself with 'Ooh! Is that a line?! I don't know! It might be a line! I'll have to test again tomorrow!' :D

With a blastocyst (which I assume you had with a 5dt), you'll probably have got implantation fairly quickly so if you are pregnant it will probably show up by now...

Just delurking to say that's really good with the follicles. On our successful Clomid month we had two of a good size & BD'd on night of CD13 & morning & night on CD14. Good luck.

Tea - everything crossed for you.

Good luck becca, really hope the clomid does the trick for you xx.

Thanks for all the good luck thoughts ladies. I don't think my fingers have ever been this tightly crossed!!

Re. testing early - mad as it sounds I'd rather wait. It is (obviously!!) incredibly tempting to test, and if I could guarantee a +ve I'd be peeing right now!

We won't get another go at this, so this could well be the only time I'm ever PUPO. I really REALLY don't want to be PO. It's obviously not going to happen naturally (4 yrs trying, never been pg) so I may only have another 3 days of daydreaming about prams and baby names, and worrying about the size of the house and our finances. If we're never going to get that chance again I'd rather enjoy it now (albeit in a rather impatient way lol) than test early and know it's over.

My patience will definitely be tested by tomorrow though, as that was supposed to be OTD. I've got a meeting that I really can't get out of so we're now testing on Thursday. Knowing that we were supposed to be testing at the hosp tomorrow is making me want to reconsider the testing early! But having waited this long, I'm going to try and hold out another couple of days.

OMG! You're not even testing on OTD! You've got unbelievable willpower! It's good news that you've not got your period yet, tea. The times that IVF didn't work for me, I'd already started bleeding before OTD. Any symptoms? ;) My first was constipation.
