Hi Tea, you don't know yet so stay positive. Are you close to anyone who works with her? I would ask them how they 'manage' her. They will have techniques. When she starts to go off subject, ask her a question about what she just told you.Pots: House £6966/£7100, Rainy day Complete, [STRIKE]Sunny day £0/£700[/STRIKE], IVF £2523/£2523, Car up-keep £135/£135, New car £5000/£5000, Holiday £1000/£1000, MFW #16 £2077/£3120

Sending hugs tea. I shouldn't be checking on this thread from holidays, but I keep wanting to know how you are!
Fingers and toes crossed girl. You have done what you can, so give yourself a break. IVF does work I hear!
By the way, can I ask what happened the other two embies? I'm very interested in the likely success rate from fertilised egg to blast, as I have 9 1 day embies in the freezer, and no idea how many of them may make it.0 -
Big hugs Tealover - sure its normal to have doubts, but try as much as you can not to get too stressed. At work I either popped outside and took a few deep breathes or just walked around the office to get a drink or go to the loo to calm myself down.0

Morning all, how is everyone today? It’s snowing here again! Where is spring??
Think there’s going to be a lot of deep breaths and counting to ten today, work is massively doing my head in. It’s a bit of a weird set up – it’s a massive company but a tiny department within in. There’s actually only me and one other woman in this whole building…. so no escape lol. They have the most complicated, confusing systems and no one seems to have any idea what’s going on. I can’t work like that – I’ll readily admit I’m a control freak, I need order and organisation! I hate not knowing what’s supposed to be happening and constantly feeling like I’m doing things wrong. I’ve got an interview for the permanent job on the 23rd (as the other woman is retiring) but I really don’t know what to do about it. I don’t want it tbh. But how much of that could be cyclogest talking?? Maybe it would better once the really irritating woman has gone!
Re. embies – we have none frozen. Of the four that fertilised, one had stopped growing by ET day and one was behind where they needed it to be. So it’s the two they put back or bust!0 -
Tealover - hope your day went better today. Don't make any rash decisions at the moment. I found the effects of cyclogest worse than all the other ivf medication. Just go easy on yourself Hun x0

Just popping back to say I had a beautiful baby girl, Millie Violet, last week at 39 weeks. She had to be delivered by c-section as I was suffering pre-eclampsia and she didn't want to come out. She was 8lbs exactly.
She is my little ICSI Frozen Embryo miracle and worth the 5 year wait to get her.
I will keep checking to see how you are all progressing. I wish you all the luck and success in this difficult and emotional journey.BEST WIN LAST YEAR - MULBERRY HANDBAGSENDING STICKY VIBES TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM0 -
