I am somewhat alarmed that all of the above quotes are 3 months or more ago. It is now January 2011 and I wonder if I stand a cat in hell's chance of claiming my money and interest back from these charletons? What does anyone think?0

Hi
Well I have managed to get a full refund from We Fight Any Claim despite me lodging my claim with Beneficial Claims. pleased to say that they refunded everything i had paid them (apart from the non refundable fee they took - which i knew i wouldnt get back)
I didnt claim any interest, but what i would say is that don't wonder, just do it and ask for your money back. It won't be easy but stick at it and you never know. I never thought i'd get my money back but i did so a big thank you to everyone on this forum and thread for their advice and help0 -
Do you think it is too late for me to do the same? Its now January 2011?0

No not at all, if they are still "pursuing" the claim then the case is still ongoing. If anything the longer it has gone on without any progress would give you an even stronger argument to say it has reached a stalemate and that you don't believe there is any hope of the the claim succeeding
Thats what I did and I worte them several emails. I managed to get back everything i paid to them, without having to even lodge a claim through money claims online.
I would say, write to them asking for your money back. I can email you copies of letters/emails i sent if you wish0 -
There are no blogs for 2011 I notice, has everyone given up now?
I haven't, and the latest telephone call from both 'We Fight Any Claim@ and 'Beneficial Claims' promised a refund to my account within 5 days. Watch this space!!0 -
Oooops sorry Tazzy3, I just noticed you had replied to me. Monday morning and all that!! Well thanks for your advice and I would be very grateful if you could e-mail me copies of your letters etc. Who knows, they may keep their promise for once and refund me shortly. heather.owen123@virginmedia.com0

Hi, my son contacted beneficial claims last May regarding the PPIs on a loan he had taken out, and was told that he would get approx £4250 claimed back for a fee of £245.00. He paid this and despite contacting them regularly and told that they are still investigating it, I decided to look into this company and see if they actually existed. Imagine my horror reading all these posts!! I would appreciate any adveice from anybody on where my son stands or if there is anything he can do.0

This is a message of hope to all who were encouraged to give up money to beneficial claims and we fight any claim. Last July I was contacted by yes loans and as all have found out was encouraged to believe I had been agreed for a loan. This then turned out to be a DMP and for this I had to give over £400 then I was contacted by we fight ... and told for £3500 they would get me a PPI reclaim. In the cold light of day I realised what I had done and immediatley cancelled the agreements both by phone and recorded letters and email. After 3 months of worry and a lot of phone calls I got all my money back. It did take a lot of persevation and a bit of good luck in that in one email they gave me a landline number and a name so the calls were free. Keep on fighting as these companies seem to prey on the desperate members of society.0
