good idea lucielle but it is not just the space it is money as well ...and for what you get for books these days compared to what you pay for them ...i think i will go to the library ...wont need to go for ages though as i have tonnes to read first ...just finished one about meat ...has helped me make up my mind to stick with the vegetarian way of life
well i had a good sleep and i have just got up had a shower and sat for the last 20 mins or so and started making out a shopping list ...this isnt something i do often (maybe a dozen times in my life) so i am trying to be methodical about it all ...were getting there i am even meal planning for next week shock shock horror horror ...but i think it is the way to go
am going to transfer the money over into the right account just shortly and have a wee looksy at the account and see how it is doing anyway ...0 -

see if it is a book you want but they dont have it will they order it for you ?0 -
Yes, the library should order books in for you - ours let you order them online and they then tell you when they are in.
Shopping lists and meal plans are good - I definitely spend less in the supermarket when I have done my plans....otherwise, I put a whole load of truck in my trolley that I don't actually need or even want!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. well i went to the shops ...i did my best ...but it wasnt good enough so i will have to come up with a way to imporve for next week ....i have a whole load of books my friend has decided she no longer wants to sell at the car boot sale to get rid of ...she left them at my place so that they would be there when we went to the car boot sale ...now she doesnt want them so i am gonna take them to the charity shops ...i think i have about 40 books and 8 bags of clothes and other things to go ...will take a bag a day i think ...if i thought i could get money for them i would sell them lol
right have written a letter to ryan air thanks pepe ...will let you know what happens ...
am going to go to the bank as well (once i have done some housework) and hand in one of the account closure letters ...that will be three accounts closed then through two letters ...and as soon as i can get the other one fixed i will close that as well this month ...just leaving me two more to go yay ..small victories and all that0 -
well i went to the bank and handed in my letter to close the account ...i thought i was going to get a wee why are you closing your account question as the girl went away with the letter ...but she came back and said i will write a cheque for you just now ...so £109 and pennies into the overdraft account to pay towards hubby's £500 this month yay0

small steps make a difference...
Try mysupermarket.com as a way of cutting down your food bill - at least it calculates your items cost as you go along and suggests cheaper alternatives. You can either print off the shopping list or send it to the supermarket you chose eg Asda, Tesco, Sainsburys or OcadoAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
