Dizzy, I'm worried about another pregnancy/labour. Mine wasn't as bad as yours, but I can understand how you feel. I was induced as I developed pre-eclampsia. The labour was difficult, DS got into distress and I delivered him (arms first!) while being prepped for a section. I was lucky that I managed to get to term, but I'm worried I'll get pre-eclampsia again and have an early baby. I'm torn between wanting to get pregnant and being scared.

I had pre-eclampsia as well and was induced. I've had to block out DS's birth or there's no way I would go ahead with TTC:o

I think its like a lot of bad experiences in life.... you've just got to get on with it!!

I think we all worry . You know the signs of preclampsia now and will be ready to take action. My freind got preclampsia and delivered just before she went into a coma , after driving herself to the hossie . Her dd was 968g and 10 weeks early. We all worry .. Managed to compose myself a bit

Next time Im gonna make sure i get all the care I need. I have a freind whos training to be a mw and she had said she will help me all the way through.

U did very well feelinggood , Im so happy for you . But we are all going to feel scared even though we have had bad experiences. Concentrate on keeping urself healthy and enjoying the now , take the then when it slaps u in the face.

U and ur ds are survivers im sure u will have a no problemo preg next time ...

    Afternoon everyone...

Just hoping for a bit of help from everyone really, and a very lovely lady on this thread sent me a message offering me some help.

Bit of extra background. Im a structured personality. i.e I like things in order, i write lists, I prioritise my lists, I procrastinate (the only downside LOL!)

I feel like i need a list of what i need to do every day and at what times to make sure I do it..... Im really bad with memory management hence always writing lists, and I was really hoping you lovely ladies would give me a bit of help with it.

I know some people may think im taking the romance out of it, and by making a list of what I need to do every day probably is, but i find it much easier to put the romance back in when its ordered, than to try and put order in to romance...

Hopefully this makes sense to someone....
Theres so much information on the internet, i just cant get my head round it all.

    so things like:
what do i need to eat each day
what supplements should i be taking and at what time
how often should we be bd-ing
whats the best way of tracking my cycles/signs?
what exercise should i be doing
should i do anything else like acupuncture, indian head massage, reiki (ok last one sounds like pulling at straws)

but it would be such a massive help to me...

Theres so much information on the internet, i just cant get my head round it all.

    so things like:
what do i need to eat each day Whatever you like but make sure it's balanced & healthy e.g good old meat & 2 veg(the food!;)) The the inedible meat & 2 veg is for afters;):rotfl:
what supplements should i be taking and at what time Folic acid with moring cuppa, Zinc for OH
how often should we be bd-ing Every other day(if you can!) If not whenever you feel like it with particular effort put in around OV
whats the best way of tracking my cycles/signs? try this website or this one (I prefer the 2nd as it keep all features. The 1st one takes them off unless you sign up to VIP membership)
what exercise should i be doing Anything that releases tension e.g Yoga, Pilates(you can also carry these on during pregnancy)
should i do anything else like acupuncture, indian head massage, reiki (ok last one sounds like pulling at straws) Not unless you fancy trying it out, think this one might be personal choice:D

but it would be such a massive help to me...

I've put what I do in red, you sound just like me:D I need to be mega organised or I forget things and procrastination is by biggest fault:o
Are you quite a stressy person too?? I am and it drives Dh mental, I can get stressed out at doing my list in the wrong order:eek::rotfl: Yup I'm a mentalist:rotfl:

OK, so I did another OPK and it looks exactly like the one from yesterday so I'm not going to do anymore as I feel a bit like I'm wasting them now. Just going to see if AF rears her ugly head or not

CAFCgirl, my mum's a Reiki healer and from what I've read it can be used to help TTC. Will have a chat to her and see if I can find out any more

Had some good news while I was away from the PC, OH and I are putting in for a tax rebate and OH's cheque is apparently on the way. We don't know how much for yet but we've worked it out it could be quite a bit :T:T

It just really helps me to know what im doing when, I hate flighty people and people being vague, and people changing their minds etc. Thats why going through all the info on the internet does my nut! Surely the answer is the same answer no matter what!?

Fingers crossed for your BFP hun...

I think I need to make a calendar/list and put it up against something like the fridge or my wardrobe...like a checklist everyday lol

HaHa, that made me laugh. I also love to make lists - in blue pen so I can put a big red tick through the ones I have completed!!!
Am trying to convince DH that we need to be 'trying' every other day but having problems. Our romantic anniversary weekend was very lovely but we have been a bit ill and I told him yesterday if there was nothing that night it needed to be Tuesday and Wednesday;) Not holding my breath though .... does anyone else have the same problem ....??? Unfortunately it's a bit of an ongoing problem in our relationship but again, that's a whole other thread !!! .......
P.S So pleased with all the good news that has been flying around lately - made me very teary.
Good luck to all those testing soon.

You two sound like me! I've got lists and things that I have to do everyday! Tablets are next to my glasses to remind me to take them every morning!

nunny... we were thinking DH is due a rebate but not sure. How did you go about finding out??

LISTS.... I do lists all the time!! And I'd be lost without my diary where everything is planned! :)

My tablets are next to a cup in the kitchen (on view so I remember!) and I have my morning routine to take them. If my routine is ruined for whatever reason I get very upset:o

:D:D:D My DH knew I was running out of folic acid so surprised with a new tub today!!!:T:D
