ahhhh i got my blood test in two hours, im scared!

Merfe so sorry to hear your story, i also remember you when i was on the pg thread and was sad to hear what happened, lots of hugs to you.

    wow you know everything!!

    Jenny
as merfe and ali said no i dont think its too early to start thinking and trying again. When i had my first mc, i asked the doctor when i can start trying again and he said whenever just best to wait for another period as its easier for dates, didnt listen tho and started again and i had one more period then got pregnant after so they could tell by the dates of my last period. And when i saw my doctor a couple of weeks ago, he said there was no problem with my starting again only when im emotionally ready.

astro_k :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j can you tell im happy for you!!wishing you the best of luck. How far gone do you think you are?
  • Thanks for all the congrats everyone - really appreciate it...! Lauralou - the docs will count from day 1 of my mc I guess, which means they'll say I'm 6wks. But since I think I ov'd/bd'd on day 18 compared to day 12ish on a normal cycle, I think I'm about 5wks and a little bit. So v v v early days....

    BFPs - CAFC, B2B, Katy, elliebobs, Astro_k :j:j:j Well done ladies! :D

Wow! Massive congrats astro! Hope its a super sticky one for you and you get your lickle baby in 8 happy healthy months (we require pictures by the way - that goes for all of you BFP ladies!)

becs-we're still cycle buddies, I'm on CD12, 5th day of POAS and 5th day of high  OH is getting it every other day, and to be honest my libido's gone through the roof (sorry for TMI :o) so everything is very happy (if a little sweaty and out of breath) chez Bitzer at the moment! :rotfl:

CAFC- you'll be fine I'm sure honey, but I totally understand your paranoia, so seeing the GP will hopefully settle your mind :grouphug:

MERFE- I read your sad news on the pg board :grouphug: I hope you're ok and that you're not with us long and can get back on that other board asap. There are a few ladies here who've joined for sad reasons so hopefully you can get some reassurance and support from those who have unfortunately shared your experience ((hugs))

Hassle1- sorry to see you go, but we're here if and when you need us. I hope that a break from ttc will give you some peace and help you settle the other things in your life ((hugs))

smartie - good luck at the dentist my love!

Lauralou - :o I know all the facts but haven't managed to poas and get more than one line yet! I'm still a newbie really, only been trying 8 months (feels like years though) Hope your blood test goes well!

Someone asked what SS-ing was: its symptom-spotting. When you notice your boobs hurt/you pee more/you've got constipation/heartburn/knackered/metallic taste in your mouth etc in your 2WW and you drive yourself mad wondering if you're pg... we all do it and we all know its bad and only leads to disappointment when AF show up so we try our hardest not to do it (but often fail :o)

Good luck to the rest of you, remember there's always someone here to lean on if you need it. Love and babydust (and supersticky bean dust to you BFPs) :T

Yeah they prob will. Have you not had a monthly cycle since your mc?
Just remember it will take a while for the news to settle. Maybe talk to your OH about how your feeling or go and see the doctor.
I think when i next(hopefully) get pg so many emotions will be going through me.

Nope, no period since my mc - bit disorganised! My OH is brilliant, and we've talked loads, so I'm very lucky there. Think he's feeling just as bashed around as I am, and is particularly worried about having to look after me if I mc again, as it was just so awful the first time. Will probably go and see the doc in a couple of weeks if it's still sticking, as I might see if she'll arrange me an early scan. Also, to see what her advice is regarding the swine flu vaccine. I'm not keen myself, but that's on the basis of no knowledge whatsoever, and the fact that my job doesn't take me in contact with loads of different people. Does anyone have any thoughts or information about this?

The best you try and do is think positive(easier said then done i know) no i dont really know anything about the swine flu vaccine. Go to the doctors and see if you can get an early scan as it may provide some reassurance.

Lol Bitzer - sounds like my house at the mo! I'm sure I'm OV at the moment, so we BD Sat/Mon/Tue and tonight as well. DH thinks all his Christmas' have come at once lol. I am trying to make him not seen as a baby making machine!!! One last go tonight I think and then we'll leave it back to the usual routine, and I'm so getting some OV sticks for next month.

That was me who asked about SS'ing - thank you :). So are these the general symptons - are there any more? Mind you, I was thinking earlier this week that I seem to be peeing a lot - butt hat prob relates to the amount of tea and Diet Coke that I drink lol

    Must not get obsessed!!!!!

Huge PMA vibes to everyone - we will all have good news in time for Xmas :)
