morning all
am off to the gp's today to see if he can help me out with the morning sickness. Ive also had some more spotting as well. I was meant to be sent a letter for a second scan as well after our trip to a&e but nothing has materialised..... i just need to see that its all going ok......Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
MERFE - so sorry to hear your news - everyone's wonderful on this thread and too many of us have been through similar experiences, so hopefully you'll find some support and reassurance here. Having mc'd in June and again in September this year, I'm really feeling for you in this awful waiting time between finding out and it actually happening. Nothing I can say to help, but just that we're thinking of you both and sending our hugs and best wishes. xxx
Best of luck in the future hassle.
Hello to all the newbies. I've not been actively posting here long, although I've been lurking (and ttc) for ages, and have been made to feel very welcome. I've found a lot of comfort through all the ups and downs.0 -
I'm sitting here in shock.... Just taken a test and it's positive. Half of me (and DH too) is jumping for joy:j, and the other half is just terrified I'm going to mc again. Like last time, my only pg symptom is a lack of AF, and perhaps having felt very tired for a few days at the beginning of last week. Other than that, nothing
. Guess there's nothing to do but wait and see what happens, with as much PMA as possible. Third time lucky...?
congrats!!!!:D:D0 -
Yay for your positive Astro_k :j heres to a healthy 8 months
Hello to all the newbies :hello: So sorry to hear some of the sad stories. Fingers crossed for loads of fab news
Loads to read back on so best to say Hugs to those that need them, Good luck to everyone that needs luck and sticky baby dust to all by the gallon.
Im now 3 days late but waiting til fri to test after my bfn on monday.
Hope everyone has a fab day xxxxxx0 -
jenny I dont think it is at all, I'm thinking about it already, some people get pregnant before their next period after mc although the docs prefer you to wait till after as far as i know that is purely for dating purposes, so you do what you like when you feel ready as far as i'm concerned.
thanks for the welcome by the way. I actually feel fine today but it doesnt feel real yet, I have to ring work later to let them know I want to do it naturally but dont know when that will be so wont be back for a while, I put it off yesterday and I know I'm gonna struggle with it later on.
congrat astro, I genuinely hope it works out for you this time, I much prefer hearing the good news.
I dont know how you guys wait so long to take a test, mind I only take one if I feel symptoms but if i do then I test straight away, I did a weeks of BFN this time before I did another 10 or so tests of BFP. I kept testing for a whole week before believing it, even though really I already knew because of the symptoms.0 -
:j:j:j:j:j Congratulations Astro!!!!!!!! Gosh how exciting - I hope all goes well
There seem to be a few ladies who are due to POAS. Good luck to you all. Fingers crossed for lots of BFPsI have to wait another 2.5 weeks til I get to POAS
Hope you all have a lovely day0 -
Morning Ladies...Hope all are well.
No test arrived yet...hehehe...damned postal strike..symtoms havent gone away...hoping to be able to tell the OH Friday that we're expecting...not getting too excited yet tho
Congrats to those who are already PG xxKent Bird!:beer:0 -
Morning all.
Congrats Astro! :j I'm so happy for you and you OH. We'll be with you all the way xxx
Cafc - Hope you're feeling OK. It's horrendous waiting on scans, isn't it? Keeping everything crossed for you xx
Jenny - Like Merfe (Hi Merfe :hello:) I'm thinking about trying again already (well, as soon as the bleeding stops) I know it's sensible to wait for AF to appear and I guess it will probably p!ss the docs/midwives off if you can't gave a date for your last AF, but hey, they'll get over itI hope work is going OK for you. I know it's only Wednesday, but I'm dreading going back to work on Monday. Still, I've got to do it sometime I suppose.
Hope everyone has a good day, positive vibes to all! xxxx0 -
Hello
Cor sooo many newbies.... must be the season for TTC;)
Congrats to Astro:D
I don't do OV sticks anymore although I did get positives.... and even 2 lots of positives (might of been because of being pg) This month I don't know when I Ov'd... didn't really notice any CM. And do you know what??? I feel so much more relaxed not knowing!Of course I sort of know ish when OV was due because of length of my cycle but I'm not even sure what CD I'm on!
Dentist in a mo:( Did go a few weeks ago but he wouldn't treat me as I was too poorly and run down which made me have a sort of cold sore thingy.

Keep your chins up and you'll get through it! 3rd day back now and have had a bit of a wobble already this morning! Can't wait for the weekend already!
Thought the bleeding had stopped, but alas no! But its only a little bit so I'm hoping there's nothing to worry about!
I don't know how any of you guys can wait until the "test" day, i am possibly the most impatient person ever! Me and hubby did 6 tests when we found out! Just to make sure!!!
I'm a bit like you Lauralou, not too sure when I OV, especially at the mo, just want the bleeding to completely stop so we can start BDing again! Do you think its too soon to think about ttc again? See what I mean about being impatient!!
Sticky baby dust to all! x
Hi jennyfleur - think we cross-posted, so only just seen this. Sorry to hear about your wobble - hopefully it'll stop again very soon. Big hugs. About when to start ttc'ing again, whenever you're ready - there's no right or wrong time. I think I definitely now believe in the theory that you're more fertile the few months immediately after a mc... But that shouldn't mean starting again before you're ready, mentally or physically. I don't mean to be insensitive to anyone, but we weren't going to actively try this month, as we both needed time to recover. But then my DH returned from a week long work trip, just after the bleeding had stopped, and we were so pleased to see one another, it was just so good to be close.... And it was only afterwards that I realised that it was probably ov day. So this morning I'm feeling totally dazed, and like I'm really not quite mentally ready for this yet.
Re testing, I think I'm at the other end of the spectrum - definitely head in the sand until I'm two weeks late and then test once or twice at the most.
Good luck with telling work MERFE - that's very brave of you - I hope it goes okay. I didn't tell my work, which meant they had a little unexplained thundercloud to put up with in the corner of the office for a while. :mad:0
