  • Hi, thank you to laura, merfe, astro, and ali for the positive thoughts about getting pg after an m/c, I feel so much more positive about it now!!
Astro, congratulations, I'm so pleased for you, try to stay calm (I'm laughing at my own advice) hopefully the doc will be able to arrange an early scan to put your mind at ease! So pleased for you!!!!!
Laura, big hugs to you, hope you have a nice lunch with your friend, your OH better be ready for cuddles later!
Good luck for work on Monday Ali, it really isn't as bad as you think it'll be! Once you are there thats the hard bit out of the way! Just concentrate on the rest of this week 1st, give yourself a couple of lovely things to do, I made myself so busy when I was off!
Cafc, I hope the doctors managed to help with your morning sickness, even though you probably feel awful, its kind of nice knowing the reason behind it!!!
Gettingthereslowly, why did the postal strike have to happen this week!! Typical isn't it! Friday will be here before you know it!
Smartie, I hope the dentist went ok, I had to go on Monday, was supposed to go a month ago but had a migraine, but wouldn't have had to pay then, this time going it cost me £16!!! And I don't think he really did a proper look around!!!
Merfe, sending lots of hugs and love to you!
Metranil, try to stay positive, I did a pg test that said negative and then 1 week later, 3 days after AF due, it was positive! Hormones are very strange things sometimes!
Astro, the swine flu jab was really playing on my mind, the advice I was given was to go and speak to your GP about it, they have all the info, my sister-in-law, who is 7 months pg has had it, but i know a few people who aren't going to, its a tough one!

Think thats my lunch break nearly over so better get back to looking busy!
Hope you are all happy (ish) and sending lots of love and hugs to all!!!

  • CAFC, i'm so sorry about your traumatic visit to the doctors, sometimes they can be so blunt can't they! He sounded very nasty and i'm totally not surprised that you cried! I hope you get somewhere with contacting the epu, hopefully they will be a bit more sympathetic! Lots of hugs being thrown your way ;)

CAFC - Sorry to hear of your very insensitive GP. At the end of the day, you know what happened - just keep persevering with the GP. Is there another GP at your practice that you can see. When I get pg (fingers crossed), I'm not sure if I will see my usual GP, as he is the most sarcastic man you could ever meet!! He always makes you feel that your're wasting his time  Anyway, get a big cuddle of your OH - you deserve it.

Laura - Hugs for you too :). At least the tests are over and done with and you make sure that your OH gives you lots of cuddles as well!

MV - I know that form of contraception as well!!! DH and I have been using it for goodness knows how long now! It does make me worry too, as I keep reading that sperm can leak before ejaculation (tmi i know!!!). So in theory this could have happened to me over the last few years but it hasn't!!

Just nipped into the chemist to get some Folic Acid tablets, and couldn't help looking at the PG tests :o I resisted the urge to buy one since AF isn't due for at least another 2 weeks!

Hope everyone is having a good day x

I went to superdrugs on monday to buy some mroe folic acid tablets and i couldnt help but buy some pregnancy tests, they were 2 for £8, so i got four tests altogether, so i got some and did test when i got home, i dont know why tho and had a faint line but i think its still from my mc.
CAFC some doctors can be so rude sometimes, when i see my doctor sometimes he just looks at me blankly or just look at his computer screen and types.

Oh i managed to get through to the hospital and the lady said oh the guy isnt in this week so we will ring you monday to make an appointment!:mad:so now got to wait until monday and even then il prob have to wait another month for an appointment!!

    Hope everyone is ok!
  • sammy you are alot stronger than me!! well done for the folic acid, i'm back on it now too!!

Thanks everyone who'se commented on the work situation. Am at work now, so not really time to quote you all but I have (or will) press your thanks button.

Sammy_girl, you know, you may well be right (in that she did it on purpose). It really is the type of thing she would do but we are sticking to our guns and am really hoping for my BFP this month. Everyones making it look so easy :p

Astro - BIG congratulations hunny. So pleased for you. Now chill out, sit down and relax! (wags finger) lol.

This 2WW is seeming sooooo long and i'm only CD18 6DPO with another 13 days till test day.

Anyway, lots of PMA and sticky Baby Dust to all.

    SK x

totally not ttc related but barbara windsor(peggy) is leaving eastenders!
  • Thanks Jenny F...well I'm a day late now and no sign of AF (see I'm getting into the jargon! :p), so will test again on Friday if no sign.

Feeling really grouchy though and nearly burst into tears in front of my boss (oops), so think I may be about to come on...grrr

Ah well..have a couple of good mates coming over on sat night for dinner, so I'm looking at it in that if it is another BFN, then at least I can have a good old few glasses of vino!
Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,
You don't even take him seriously,
How am I going to get to heaven?,
When I'm just balanced so precariously..
